First-made automaton of Pyrmal, Aerea was constructed of gold, brass and primal magic. Loyal to her maker, she is an active assistant in the forges, hauling items back and forth and helping to select gems for enchanting. Though she seems small at first sight, she is far stronger than she initially appears, having been made to have a guardian's strength in her small frame, as well as being larger than most fae overall. Generally Aerea keeps to herself, assisting Pyrmal - and his new assistant-construct, Gienah - in craftwork. She also works with Telchine and Herculanea at times, but her first loyalty is to her creator and his creations, much to Pyrmal's concern. Nonetheless, she is very well made and very good at what she does; none have her eye for gems and gemcutting, and she has a unique knack for - as she calls it - curing flawed gemstones. Nonetheless, many find her clearly constructed nature eerie, not much eased by her usual silence unless asked a direct question, and she is given the space she seeks. When left on her own, and somehow unbeknownst to her, she sings. |

Aerea was primarily created as an experiment, as Pyrmal wished to utilise everything he'd learned from making familiar constructs to make something more - he wished to make a draconic automaton and, perhaps, a truly living thing. This is not unheard of within the clan; Bilberrios is well known for being something of a mad scientist attempting to use alchemy alone to create new life - indeed, he has succeeded, though only once as he intended and even there not as wholly as he sought. Pyrmal, however, has had rather more success. While Aerea is not everything he sought he learned valuable lessons from her, and thus went on to create Gienah. Nonetheless, Aerea is very much his first creation and, in many ways, his first child, and he spends a great deal of time with her, hoping to coax her into being all he still firmly believes she can be. While Gienah finds her elder sister perhaps a little staid and boring, Pyrmal is of the belief that Aerea is fully capable of Gienah's almost troublesome independence, she just needs help emerging from her shell. For Aerea's part, she doesn't really dwell on it all. She is a construct. She is only so much a real dragon. She has her work, and her few select companions, and that is enough. Perhaps one day she will want more - but not right now. Not just yet. For now, all she has is more than enough and she sees no reason to reach beyond her bounds, even if her Father might wish it for her. She has been told by some few that she sings, however, and she doesn't entirely know what to do with that. |

The Forge: Where Aerea was created by Pyrmal and where she most regularly helps him with work, Aerea loves this place above all else. The warmth, the noise, the company and the work... her chamber may be hers, but the Forge is home. The Magma Baths: Being in the Wastes, the clan's territory includes deep caves of lava. Very few dragons - even those of fire - dare go near, but Aerea bathes in the consuming warmth of them on a regular basis, only returning when the metal of her is scalding hot and glowing cherry-red. Energy Cores: The very thing keeping Aerea "alive", these are what collect the warmth and magic which keeps her going. Each lasts for several years, and Aerea has several prepared for when they need replacing. 225: Gifted to her by Pyrmal when she was new-made, 225 has been her constant companion since in effect her birth. Aerea will always love and be loyal to Pyrmal, who made her, but 225 is a close second. Eyestone: Aerea's eyes are made from carefully crafted pieces of Banded Sardonyx. In her role as jeweller for the clan - and especially for Pyrmal - she has helped to cut spares in the past, and keeps a very few around her chamber, in case of accidents. This one however - this one is her favourite. Her Chamber: As a construct, Aerea has no need for food or sleep, let alone a private chamber. Nonetheless, she has one - a small space near Pyrmal's, heated by the forges, where she can draw and design and work on small clockworks to her heart's content. While Gienah does sometimes visit Aerea is mostly left alone. |

Being away from Pyrmal. - Virtue: Obedient, efficient, methodical in her work. Aerea gets things done and gets them done exactingly well. - Vice: Her obedience can be almost blind. Name: 225 ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ 225 was made for Aerea by Pyrmal to assist her as she began to adapt. Pyrmal had had practice in making straightforward robots before and he'd hoped that by providing a reliable robot to Aerea, she might have some assistance as she learned. However, he now fears that by giving her 225 he stunted her growth and capacity for maturation; while Aerea sings and can act independently - he made her capable of doing so - she doesn't exhibit any drive to do so. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ |
