Elano was the last of her regiment to defend her home territory against encroaching forces from the Ice flight. She was raised from youth to fight no matter the cost if someone was threatening her, and when the time finally came to defend her home, she didn’t even think twice. With claws bared and fangs ready to cushion fireballs, Elano charged into battle, leading her forces.
The battle was costly. Most everyone around her was frozen and unable to move, and Elano kept fighting until she was the only one standing. In a final stand against the enemies from the frozen south, she lit up the entire area around her in flames until she was frozen as well. Elano remained frozen for many years until in an expedition to dig underground, her ice and stone thawed to reveal her again for the first time in many years.
Now, Elano can finally rest and live in peace with the other Fire dragons, although she doesn’t always realize there isn’t a threat to her life anymore. She can suddenly launch into fighting mode at any time, often to the result of something being broken, but she retains her kindness and gentle nature outside of something she can’t fully put behind her yet. Elano is regal and gentle at her best, but can be scary at her worst.
