  Unclaimed eggs, once hatched, are known as "Element Born"; dragons of no parental lineage that are considered to been molded from the will of the deities themselves, and are to be revered... that is, if they hatch within the realm of their origin. Element Born found outside of native territories no longer belong to that deity, and instead belong to the realm in which it was hatched, so other clans will steal Element Born eggs to shame and weaken their neighbors. Where an unclaimed egg travels from its origins determines the shape of the dragon inside, so dragons will attempt to "convert" unclaimed eggs into their deity's image as another display of dominance.
