Gentara

Gentara is a veteran healer who has seen the horrors of war and bloodshed, and swore to prevent it to the best of her abilities. She is kind, but firm. In rare moments of weakness does she show the pain she feels of her troubling past, but she tries her best to hide it from her patients and peers so as not to concern them.

After the war she was never fully the same. Her body was severely scarred, and her mind and heart were seared with the memories of the war. Where she was once joyous and eager she was now bitter and tired. She was ordered to engage in combat as well as medical aid, due to a shortage of troops. She fought desperately, using her knowledge of anatomy to strike enemies harder, but hated every bit of it; it forced her to break her oath to help others.

After being retired from her service as a war nurse due to her shell-shock, Gentara was reimbursed and freed to go where she pleased to retire. She journeyed from lair to lair, eventually coming to the Shoredeep Presage, only to be greeted by a happy energetic Snapper female who introduced herself as Gracyanne. She led Gentara to the clan Progenitors, and they welcomed her into the lair with open arms. As she was given a tour by the eager Gracyanne, Gentara began to feel more and more at home with the comfort of humor and appreciation, heavily contrasting the war and seriousness she'd been around most of her life.

Now she serves as a clan healer and works on recovering from her own scars, physical and mental alike.
