Thallane is a peculiar pearlcatcher, as it is very rare for someone to actually catch him fully awake. Most of the time he can be found napping around the place, sometimes in spots he really shouldn't be. Does he consider them to be a challenge, or was he just caught off guard by a sudden tiredness at that particular place? No one can really say, and Thallane is always too preoccupied to answer. That, or anyone who tries to ask will always find themselves drifting off alongside him... zzzz...

Whether it be a part of his magic or just his character, Thallane exudes a feeling of comfort and relaxation to those around him, so much so that they'll begin to fall asleep. The pearlcatcher himself isn't immune to this, which is the cause of his sleeping habits. The crows that follow and remain perched on him are the only ones that seem to resist these temptations, though they will still happily nap with their master to pass the time. In the rare hours when he's awake, Thallane isn't any more productive than he is when he's asleep. He'll spend his time watching the sky, even when it's completely covered by the clouds. Some will say that he's the laziest dragon around, though more astute observers will notice how fixated he is on the same spot each time, and wonder if he's actually looking or waiting for something. He'd never answer, though, he'd just remain quiet and continue staring until the individual pestering him either gives up or falls asleep. |

| Although the constant tiredness may be a nuisance to some, Thallane is never particularly bothered by his sleeping habits. Or at least, he doesn't have the energy to show it. In fact, he seems to be happier while sleeping than awake, as he is always particularly grouchy when he first wakes up. Perhaps it has something to do with a name he would mumble to himself as he rests, with a soft blush decorated on his cheeks... |
