Clathrus

Clathrus is never seen without a slight smile, like he might know some amusing secret but will never tell. Having grown up in the think brambles of the Tangled Wood, Clathrus is a touch unnerving to some - his life's passion is herbalism and mycology, and more often than not is out of sight in the dense twisting forest of the Coruscant Wilds, hunting for rare mushrooms to concoct elixirs and medicines with (as well as...less savory uses for the ingredients). However, despite his secretive nature, Clathrus is a rather welcoming dragon, always ready to help and often collaborating with the marsh-dwelling witch Rusalka - when she can find him, at least. When not in the thick of cataloging fungi, he can be found in the company of the clockmaker Vadim, of whom he is very fond.

In his research, Clathrus encountered a young Fae crossing through the Coruscant Wilds, coincidentally digging in the same spots that he had over the previous few days. He pursued her through the woods after she scampered off, coming to find that she had dug out a somewhat sad little burrow beneath a tree and had been staying there during the night - having left her home nest a little too early, she did not have anyone to look out for her. Clathrus helped guide her back to clan territory, and offered to help her learn more about the plants and fungi she was obviously so interested in. As such, Letharia remained glued to his side for the next few weeks, an eager apprentice and new family member.
