The culmination of all the technology and all the research ever achieved by the Nexus Core while working on Project Nexus. A horrifying, giant creature, whose size dwarfs even MAG Agents. Feral and furious, and an affront to reality as we know it.

Everyone, meet Project: Gestalt.

Though Gestalt initially started out as the magnified version of your run of the mill Abomination, he was eventually turned into something... more than that. An experiment lead by the director himself, overseeing it closely, making sure everything surrounding Gestalt is according to his "divine" vision. There is no saying what the director was thinking when he commanded the initial experiments for Gestalt, but here we are.

Gestalt is filled to the brim not only with energy harvested from the Shade, but with the very souls of deceased dragons. Hundreds, if not thousands of souls swim through Gestalt's mind and body, and as the cherry on top, he is capable of absorbing even more if a dragon were to die in his vicinity, which in turn causes the generators to pump even more Shade-energy into him, making him even bigger, stronger, and more deadly- as if he wasn't already.

Gestalt is capable of creating enormous blasts made out of pure Shade, which corrupt and absorb the energy of any living, magical creature that gets caught in its radius. He can also manipulate his body to create fleshy, squirming tendrils, which are capable of burrowing through reinforced steel, even leaving traces behind to grow more of them, which are detached from his body, yet somehow, still 100% under his control.

If all that wasn't enough already, Gestalt's body is completely encased in armor, rendering him completely invulnerable to any and all conventional attacks. Gestalt can only be damaged under very few, highly specific circumstances; it would take the Eleven all working together to so much as dent his defenses, let alone defeat him once for all. Truly, if this monstrosity were to be unleashed, it would undoubtedly spell the end of the world as we know it.

For now, however, Gestalt thankfully remains contained, laying dormant deep in Nexus City, and being under constant supervision of Phobos' most trusted scientists. They cannot release him by themselves; only Phobos is capable of doing so- though that may not be a good thing, either.

Gestalt's true purpose remains a mystery; not even the enigmatic Employers know why he was created, or what Phobos plans to do with him. They will not interfere, as Gestalt is not a threat- for the time being, at least.

Other notes about Project: Gestalt: despite his feral behavior suggesting an animal-like intelligence at best, he has, upon testing, actually been observed to be fully sapient. It is theorised that the reason for his current behaviour is the many, many souls dwelling inside him, which may cause him be mentally overwhelmed at all times. Theory affirmed further by continued observation, which concluded that Gestalt clutches at his head a lot, as well as vaguely groaning out perceivable words and sentences. Full impact of condition is not known.
