These dragons are meticulous scavengers (and curious to a fault), and are often seen picking at the remains or dwellings of Child-Eaters' hovels. Often than not, anyone can get confused upon which Witch has become a Child-Eater and so these dragons are here to help them differentiate. Very much like the Witchborne of the Wolf Moon, they have a reputation of being crafty wisdom-keepers, but are also rumored to be terrible at keeping secrets. Nevertheless, Witchborne under the Crow Moon also have the ability to communicate with the dead, as they prove to be more truthful than any other evidence. The information they take from the dead, as such example are murder victims, are scarily accurate that could pinpoint the exact time of their own deaths, the murder weapon, their attacker. Often times, they also depend on the spirits in thrall with the Witchborne of the Wolf Moon that they may rely on. Through this, they can't either be lied to as they are quite quick to know the truth through supernatural perception.

When it became apparent that through the water, the other dragons could condemn those who they believed had taken their children, the element became their means to an end. But as soon as the whereabouts of Child-Eaters came to surface, it is there where the water had proved to be most fatal to those dreaded fallen witches, burning them and their putrefied physicality as if doused by acid. Witchborne who are christened under this element became adept in controlling the Mist, being able to create, draw, scry through any pool of liquid, and even purify them for their own spells, or for drinking purposes.

-While Maristela may seem a bit cold on the outside, she is actually a very pleasant companion to have once you get to know her. Well-mannered, polite, and educated, she is sure to keep your attention.
-While she doesn't hold an official position as a healer, she often ends up with the job when she travels to the more poor and sick clans. She helps out learning healers expand their knowledge, and often heals strangers that were once put off as uncurable.
-While she is very charming if you get her to talk, she's more of an observer than a talker. She's allies with almost everybody, but there are a few creatures that Maristela can actually call her friend. One of those few, but lucky beings, is her familiar, who she knew from way back when Maristela was only a little curious dragonet. The two are rarely seen apart, as both complete each other and enjoy each other's company.
-Maristela hates rain, even though she's a water dragon. On rainy days, she is especially grumpy, hiding out in her cave for long periods of time till the whether is good again and she can go outside without cringing.
-Very regal, almost to the absurd point. While she's generally not a pompous or arrogant dragon, there are some times when she feels the need to show-off her manners and intelligence, sometimes to the moment when she gets dragons angry at her behavior.

Maristela, a dragon who is both mysterious and charming, was always interested in things beyond a normal mortal's comprehension. Even as a young dragonet, she would stop by the magician's house, looking through the window and marveling at their work. As she grew, so did her interests, and she no longer just fantasied about a mystical job, no, she also started working for it. As time passed, Maristela, who had already chosen to become a researcher in the studies of celestial bodies and the properties of fluids in space, became more and more noticed and treasured for her quick wit and cunning mind, one that was more detailed then any encyclopaedia ever.
As more and more dragons noticed this, Maristela's name began to make a mark in the researcher? association. She got invited to many other clans, now spending most of her time traveling or learning from dragons all around Sornieth.
