Abrastil ; Kruk jeden, kruki dwa, kruk trzy; jeden pada, jeden skacze, i zostajesz tylko Ty.

═══════════════════════════════════════════
Słodka krew jak wino czerwone, pióra białe jak kość

Name Meaning: Abrastol: A technical name given to the calcium salt of β-naphthol-sulphonic acid, (C10H6(OH)SO3)2Ca + 3H2O. It is used as a preservative in wines.

Notes:
- Gwyllt's mate. Unknown how they met or how they "bonded"
- Abrastil's abilities are almost inexplicable, but can be somehow defined as a chemical alteration of any organic substance into non-bio material; a sort of alchemical transmutation. She can alter material through contact with the magical runes littering her body, through contact with body fluids (blood, spit, tears, sweat...), if she bites her victim, etc. An example of such transmutation can be seen when she slowly changes a victim's blood into alcohol, intoxicating their entire system before they die from lack of oxygen delivered to their vitals and alcohol poisoning.
- She decorates her body with bleached crow skulls, as an ironic nod towards her species' namesake (albino effluvial crow).
- Her animal is the albino, white, and leutistic Monocled Cobra (Naja kaouthia). They have the same "eye" pattern on their hood as her wings.

With Abrastil's mate, Gwyllt, I feel like they know that her mate can heal himself if there was ever an accident between them with her power. Yet I feel like she would still feel a little guilty for hurting Gwyllt. And hey, a bonus thought could be that Gwyllt comforts Abrastil to reassure her that he's alright.

Lore from the Crow page.
  • A strange mutation that researchers believe to be linked to the genetic change of their unique virus. When an Albino Effluvial Crow is born they are often pale in color with occasional tints of remaining pigment lining their wings. Albino Crows can go on to produce more albino offspring, as what was formerly a recessive gene has now mutated into a dominant trait. However, the branching differences in their blood has made it almost impossible for them to pair with a normal Effluvial Crow without producing Jackdaw variations as offspring.
  • Their viral strain links their victims to the Albino Lesser Crow that inflicted it. It is less aggressive and more sinister in its design, as it leaves a distinctive mark that changes surrounding pigments to a bright red. This mark gives off the appearance that closely resembles that of a flower. Each "flower" is slightly different in variation, but consists of the same key component of a center core, presumably where the injury was inflicted and signals the virus' entry point.
  • At first it seems as if there is no outside change within its victim aside from itching and a mild fever; however, once the mark has fully "bloomed," it begins to burn painfully in the presence of the Albino Crow releasing a unique trigger pheromone. This pheromone spurs forth symptoms that causes the victim intense pain, and prompts the "flower" to develop into a deep crimson.
  • An Albino Crow often uses this mark as either a one-sided "contract" of sorts to either keep unwilling dragons under its control, or as a ward to keep the dragons in question away from itself. Alongside this, they are capable of emitting an "aggression" pheromone that sends its marked victim into a berserker, bloodlust state, similar to the Effluvial Crow strain. This is often used to pit the mark bearer against others in battle and enter a crazed state that is easily mistaken for the work of a True Effluvial.
  • However, like all strains from the Crow family, it does not affect true Effluvial Crows, nor would it affect other Albino Crows in most cases. Though this list of exceptions does not include others such as Lesser Crows, Jackdaws and the two Ebon varieties. Likewise, dragons who are naturally resistant to viruses or possess incredible willpower are possibly able to endure, and perhaps even overcome this affliction. Due to this, Albino Crows do not often prefer to take up residence within the Scarred Wastelands, and may seek to dwell within other elemental territories that favor their strengths.
  • The virus is secreted and inflicted by claw puncture, but the pheromones are released from the "eye" of their wings. The process itself therefore consists of two-parts. Naturally if the mark bearer is both behaving oddly and their flower's pigment changes in color, it signals the fact that the Albino Crow responsible is currently active and nearby.
  • Destroying or damaging the “eye” on their wing can cripple an Albino that is over-reliant on this ability as a crutch. With that said, it would be wise not to forget that they too are of Effluvial origin, and are quite physically capable even without the help of their natural born boons. They still have traces of their Effluvial berserker strain within their claws alone and sustaining repeated attacks from it can fatally overexert one’s body.
  • Being afflicted by more than one Albino Crow at a time (i.e. marked twice) can potentially kill their mark bearer by overwhelming their immune systems. The nature of this mechanism further isolates Albino Crows from each other as well, and makes them fiercely territorial against their own kind. They make occasional exceptions to this rule primarily regarding their mate(s). A key difference to note: Albino Crows (rune-like patterns) can only trigger one pheromone type at a time, where as the Albino Lesser Crow (multiple-eyed peacock pattern) can make use of more subtle combinations at once.
  • Due to the potent nature of their viral secretion, they cannot reliably overtake familiars or Beastclans. Attempting to do so generally results in an accidental early demise for the creature involved. Similarly, dragons with particularly weak dispositions may not be able to endure the process. Though this is something that may not necessarily be enough to discourage a particularly persistent Albino Crow, especially with enough help from the magicks and sciences of Sornieth at their disposal, perhaps even the most feeble and infirm could be forced to survive--at least long enough to serve a purpose.
  • Since developing this mutation, future generations tend to lend themselves toward more aggressive, vain and even antagonistic personalities or tendencies. They are natural loners and the concept of trust or blind faith is generally perceived as weak or unreliable as a foundation for either friendships or bargaining. Words mean very little and one must go very far to genuinely impress those with more extreme psychological quirks. Raising a young Albino Crow should be done so with great care, as an early education and a proper upbringing can better ensure a healthy psychological accompanied with appropriate levels of empathy.
  • Due to the erratic and unique nature of Crow-related viral strains, finding an overall vaccine or cure is akin to a nigh impossible task. Even if one were to spend a lifetime developing a means to resolving the problem, another one would simply take its place within the span of not even a generation, but by simply being a different individual to the one being researched. Eradication is unfortunately the simplest solution to this difficult problem, if "simple" is indeed the word one could or should use here.
  • The species is made up of prolific breeders with alarmingly successful gene types not unlike the Eboncrow varieties, however their antagonistic, self-serving nature motivates them to either hunt each other down or vie for territory. This results in an overall more limited number of the species reaching adulthood (level 20+), and effectively tames the numbers of their population within their own kind. By the same token, it also makes surviving and known individuals something to be wary of...
  • Their stunning pale plumage, while beautiful, holds no value in Crow society.
  • Tainted Claw-tip accessories have been known to be distributed to those trusted to do an Albino Crow’s bidding. These contaminated tools can be used to mark other dragons in the place of the Crow, who may then control them from the safety of the shadows.
Albino Crows tend to lend themselves towards the flower-like motifs of their virus, and may dress accordingly to match. While on the one hand it is a fitting aesthetic, on the other it also a good means of protection. These outward pointed thorns are saturated with the Albino Crow’s contagion, which threaten to--at best, “mark” the attacker--or more likely, kill them if they are exposed to repeated doses during their assault.
