Biography
Fionne comes from the Scarred Wasteland, specifically from the border with Dragonhome. At a young age, she was infected with a particularly virulent strain of some biohorror or other, which reacted badly with a botched attempt at inducing gembond. The result was a quickly-spreading patch of stony growths that threatened to engulf Fionne's entire body. While there is currently no known cure for her condition, it has at least been halted from spreading further with a careful mixture of potions and poultices.
Fionne is a healer, but mostly by accident. She is an alchemist first and foremost, and any cures she discovers along the way are considered useful, but uninteresting. Fionne's true passion lies in careful examination of the natural world, breaking down new materials into their base parts, and then mushing them together to see what happens. Sometimes, when she's lucky, an explosion happens.
Fionne is perfectly willing to help any ailing dragons who need her skills, but is firmly of the opinion that getting ill is not necessarily a bad thing. She certainly considers herself stronger for having survived what she calls "Crystalhide Syndrome," and puts her skills to aiding those with difficult conditions, rather than preventing them in the first place. This makes her a bit controversial among other healers, but what do they know, probably never been sick a day in their lives, the little pansies.
