It is little surprise that hatchlings born to a wastelander and a pirate in the middle of the Scarred Wasteland tend to grow up fast. They are quickly exposed to a life of brutal survival, vicious death, and, of course, grand larceny; some may become disillusioned with the violence and seek other paths while others dive in headfirst, fully embracing this way of life.

Growing up in an environment as harsh as the Plaguebringer's domain is sure to leave scars, and it is up to them to either hide the marks behind smooth silk and soft cotton or to display them proudly.

But when it comes to independence, there is little doubt that all of them love the thrill of the fight, the rush of adrenaline in their veins, and the howl of the tempest in their ears.

>> Rekhit doesn't hide the scars. This one's from burning oil, they'll say, showing off the patch of healed tissue on their arm, and this one's from when, um, when someone threw knives at me.

>> Their captive audience are, understandably, shocked-- and then immediately let down when it is revealed that Rekhit isn't some daredevil or bounty hunter. They're a cook. Those wounds they talked so enthusiastically about? Those are the hazards expected of anyone who trains to be a gourmet chef in the Wasteland. Pristine hygiene and the best food around, but unfortunately no safety standards.

>> Rekhit doesn't mind it; after all, it's a nice change of pace from dragons trying to kill them, back when they still had hope in following their parents footsteps. They prefer having a cast iron pan thrown at their head than being hunted down any day of their life. 		___
