 The rich, hearty of aroma of freshly made desserts fills the air within the bakery. The establishment is bustling with activity. Coatls expertly dance around each other as they go about their responsibilities. One dragon is organizing platters of sweet candies and rich chocolates. Another is placing delicate, pastel macarons on a platter to put on a shelf underneath the front counter. Each dessert is finely sculpted into the shape of a coatl hatchling, chocolates, taffies, cakes and even the macarons. ~ At one of the corners, precious Coatl girl is making foam on coffee for a latte art. One of her eyes twitches as she knocks the cup over. Someone passes by her as she immediately starts on the second one, and Kohi flinches, ruining it as well. Third one turns out to be a mess. Apparently, today is not her day. She will try again tomorrow. But tomorrow, everything repeats. Since she was born, she knew she would work at the bakery just like her parents, and she always loved that. Kohi waited impatiently for the day she would finally start making beautiful desserts with her own claws. She knew she had an advantage, too - not only her parents taught her underlying secrets of making the best sweets, but she also was bound to be more attentive and accurate - she had eyes all over her body. Their red glow and involuntary movement seemed sinister to some, but Kohi just knew those would help. It didn't. Young and inexperienced, easily distracted, she was seeing so many things at once, noticing everything around her, blinking all her eyes at once, shutting them just not to see. Kohi wanted to run - wanted to shout, wanted to gouge those eyes out... Just to be as those other dragons at the bakery, who were looking so peaceful, so concentrated on their creations. She, on the other hand, couldn't ignore her surroundings, tiniest details happening in front of her, behind her, or even far away. She never managed to make a single latte art. Embarassed, Kohi ran away. With naive and flexible mindset, she was sure she just needs to find a clan with no leading bakery, the one which would accept her without comparing and judging. At such place, she would be able to do her best. Temple of Soul was bustling with its usual activities and didn't even notice Kohi's arrival at first, and, covering her body with rags to keep her vision narrowed, she tried to search for a bakery - all she found were several chill individuals who were making different kinds of desserts at their own pace without minding others. But she did found one big tea shop - with Itoen inside. In his usual gentle manner, he warmed her up and asked several questions, all while taking the rags off her, and covering her with his wings instead. She knew what she wanted to do - she would create a shop just as nice and magical, where tired travelers and sleepy residents would replenish their spirits and would feel better just by entering it. And she did. Kohi now makes energizing and calming, sweet and bitter, colorful and moderate drinks, often with clumsy latte art which is not professional yet, but makes her customers chuckle and tease her in a friendly way. Her creations may not be as flawless as those at her birth clan, but at least, she found her place.
