12: Average Potential
"The Seer has peered deep within this child's soul to evaluate their magic. She sees that this child has average magic potential. An extremely common occurrence, this dragon has normal access to their deity’s element."

Congratulations on winning this level 25 dragon!

Not sure what to do with it, though? Not sure what some of these terms or things mean? Don't worry! Whether you're brand new to Flight Rising or an older player just starting to learn the coliseum, this guide will give you a basic understanding of what you need to know, and point you to some more in-depth resources!

Having one (or multiple) level 25 dragons is very beneficial for you and your lair. The coliseum is a great place to get food, materials, coliseum-exclusive apparel and genes, familiars, unhatched dragon eggs, festival currency, and most importantly, money. Anything you gain in the coliseum can be sold for gems and treasure, and leveling and exalting fodder is another stable way of earning treasure.
There are many different ways that level 25 dragons can be used in the coliseum! The two most common ways of being used are as fodder trainers, and as part of an item/loot grinding team. As the names imply, fodder trainers are one to two dragon teams that are used specifically to level up exalt fodder in the coliseum, and grinding teams are composed of three level 25 dragons that are used to grind for items (food, materials, etc.) or festival currency. Both are great to have, which is why it's nice to have multiple level 25 dragons in your lair.
➞ What is a build?
A build is a specific set of stats (the numbers listed by a dragon's STR, AGI, DEF, QCK, INT, VIT, and MND) and stones that make the dragon perfectly suited for fighting/grinding in one (or more) specific coliseum venues. A dragon's element is often included in these builds, as some elements have better survival odds than others in each venue, so be sure to pay attention!

I personally recommend having three level 25 dragons to build a general grinding team. This team can be used to grind for food or specific items, or for festival currency/chests during specific holidays. And if you're up for leveling and exalting fodder, I recommend having at least one fodder trainer for any high-level venue of your choice. Ghostlight Ruins and The Mire tend to be the best venues for fodder trainer builds.
Now you have a very basic idea of why level 25 dragons are so important and what the coliseum entails. Below, I will link other coliseum related guides and builds so that you can get started, or if you need other information!

More Coliseum Information:
"How to Train Your Dragon, by Duke": A bit of an outdated guide. But, a lot of the basic/beginner information still stands true to this day! You can still learn a lot from this guide; I just wouldn't follow the advice related to any of the builds, since a lot has changed since it was last updated.
"Updated Dragon Leveling Guide!": A more updated version of the How to Train Your Dragon guide! I'd say it's safer to follow any builds you see here.
"Battle Stones and Coliseum Builds": This guide goes into great detail about dragon stats and every coliseum stone!
"Coliseum Grinding/Exalting Guide": Another guide that's a bit outdated, but in goes into great detail on grinding and exalting in the coliseum. Again, I wouldn't use any of the builds in here, but there's still a lot you can learn in this guide!
"Exalting Treasure Payout Chart": Want an idea of roughly how much treasure you'll get by exalting at each level? This guide is for you! This can help give you an idea of which level will be best to exalt at in terms of time/treasure (which is on average level 5-7).
"Preparing for Night of the Nocturne": This post goes into detail on how to prepare yourself to coli for Night of the Nocturne, which is Flight Rising's most lucrative and exciting holiday!
Coliseum Builds:
"Coli Builds List 2.0": A comprehensive list of various coliseum builds for multiple venues! Includes popular and not as well known builds. Organized very well, and is a great place to start if you don't know which build you want yet.
"GLR - Ruin Wrecker - 2 Fodder": My personal favorite fodder trainer build! This is the one I use the most often.
"(coli build) Mire Millionaire": One of the most popular fodder trainer builds. Very similar to the Ruins Wreck build, but for The Mire!
"The Sedona Build | NO ELIMINATE": Another popular coliseum build, especially among new players, because it allows you to grind/level in the coliseum without eliminates! Eliminates are expensive stones - but VERY WORTH IT. This is a great place to start until you get an eliminate!
"Kill ANY Boss Damageless": Need to kill some bosses for hibden quests, for the bestiary, or for treasure? This build is for you!
