Reality They/Them
Reality left home very young to try to find their place in the world. They never felt like they fit in. They made a living by trading simple work for food. At one point while delivering food, a sorcerer approached them and offered to take them on as an apprentice. They accepted and began to learn about magic.
The sorcerer, Regis, and his husband, Yseult, gave Reality a home, food, and taught them. The two didn't only teach Reality about magic. They also learned about the world, and what they can be. They came out as nonbinary. They did learn a large amount of magic. They managed to earn a large amount of money through a spell shop. They moved into a small hut and began researching for his spell.
Reality spent their entire adult life working on one spell. The spell allows them to shift between realities/universes. They can shift either their consciousness or their physical form. When shifting their physical form, they can, with an extra spell, change their form to fit in with the other world.
Unfortunately, no one will believe them.
