Morax

Fur, feathers, and scales made up the exterior of the monster that was meant to be extinguished of its usefulness. The obvious mockery of the divine was shunned for its given form by most of its kind for it had been too weak to fight back. Time broke the once caring creature and made it filled with hate. Blood was spilt until no one could remember its true form as it took from the slain to adorn itself in the hides and armor of those who once scorned it. Guised in a form more horrid and dressed in the infamy of its accomplishments, those present sold themselves to the more powerful for the sake of a stronger future.

Fear led them, but fear was not what he wanted from them. Never given the proper chance to open his wings, he fell into the proper place of their games towards victory.

The spilt sanguine eventually lost its color in his once warm eyes until things shifted into the blackness that consumed all it touched.

Flickers of light brought back the warmth that was buried long ago. The sickening form that he had forgotten reflected back at him in the glass staring at him. Instead of the anguish he was prepared for and too weak to fight back from, he was met with a foreign comfort that he had waited and wished for so long.

The stained heart slowly tried to fixed itself in the presence of the one who saved him. Grateful for the single one kind act, he vowed to protect the living light that filled the empty chamber.

Design notes: Morax has two forms generally. Normally, he is generally found more simplistic with one set of wings and he is covered with armor, tattered fabric, and some bandages along with his collection of weapons. The other form is more of an angelesque form with eight wings and one pair being smaller one that somewhat covers his face and can be extended to cover his eyes. This one also has armor although less apparent as feathers and fur cover his body. The stars are generally always present whether they are invisible or not, but are treated as floating swords that he can use in combat.
