Personality Junua wasn’t always like this. Calm, collected, the local botanist who cared for the foliage around the Crystal Cove, softly humming beneath her breath as she worked, hands deft and light. It was easy to forget that she had a life before this, that she didn’t pop into existence from nothing, just suddenly appearing in this clan as if she’d always been there. Plenty of people came by to visit during the days, relaxing with her and chatting amicably as she worked, other times sharing a cup of tea. Sometimes, though, there were flashes of something else in her eyes. Something feral in the slightest thinning of her lips, her movements too deliberate as someone postured and threatened. Remnants of a past she never spoke of, days spent surviving instead of thriving in the Shrieking Wilds. As a dragonet, one of Junua's main duties was fortifying her clan's den in the Shrieking Wilds. Growing vines, bushes and deadly plants around the valley was the only way for the clan to survive.
She didn’t realise it then, but the day she returned home from the hunt with a wolf, she had doomed her clan. Or maybe it wasn’t her, maybe it was someone else - but she only dragon she could pin the blame on was herself.
As many others did, Junua left her clan and started her travel around Sorneith, looking for someplace to live. She eventually settled down at the Crystal Cove, a place that reminded her of home.
Some days she nestles in the canopy of the Starwood Strand and gazes upon the Behemoth, wondering how her clan is doing today, or if it had been destroyed entirely. She sometimes wishes that she could go back to her old friends, but she's scared of what truth she may find - not knowing is sometimes better than having to live with guilt.
