Vensu

A strange, fiery lil fella who never managed to grow older. As his siblings grew up and left the clan, he remained small and odd and ever-young. He was very intelligent for his "age", but his clan ended up abandoning him after they figured out his strange trait. He had planned to stay in Fire territory and maybe make his home there, but he was forced to book passage on a ship and sailed across the Sea of a Thousand Currents in a terrible storm before he eventually arrived in the Driftwood Drag. Without knowledge of which way he was going, he eventually set off, hoping he was heading towards either east or west and he could make his way back around to the Ashfall Waste or find refuge in a slightly warmer domain. Unfortunately, he headed north rather than east, further and further into Shadow territory.

After many days of traveling through the dark and terrifying wood all on his own with no visible end in sight, he collapsed, his energy spent, and sat in a sinking hollow, shivering with no hope left. However, he was soon found by a foraging party and they took him back with them. Their healer took him in and raised him back to health before they gave him his own room in their inn. The clan was just on the edge of Shadow territory so it wasn't as cold there, and they were all so friendly to him that eventually he decided to stay. They offered him the job of a fire representative, and he gladly accepted. Now he lives there, working with the other representatives in their shared den. He sometimes feels a bit out of place since he appears so much younger than everyone else and occasionally acts like a hatchling without thinking first, but he's happy to have found a home here.
