Beauty
I knew her once.
I used to believe in love.

The cool afternoon breeze whispered. Loud enough to be heard, but not disturbing. The sky began to sleep, with vibrant colors spilling out, yawning, before it died. The grass fluttered against the wind, dancing. It wouldn't be a very joyous occasion to dance, but it danced anyway. Not a care in the world, in it's own trance, as everything else stood to a stop. As the light leaves, so does everything that depends on it. Then, out comes the moon, with all that follows it. The enchanting moonlight, blessing all that touches it. Cursing what doesn't. You could find it enchanting, hard to look away. Catching glimpses of what can be shown of the moon, though I don't really fancy it all that much. It's just a rock. Plus, you don't know what could be behind it. Everyone has their little secrets, no matter how open they look. Hah. I know that personally myself. Even if those secrets are sealed within a barrier, shielded from others, like secrets do, they won't be afraid to appear when you least expect it. Sooner or later, that barrier, will crack and tear. Streaks of light will pour in, and that secret will find the world. It'll want to seek its way out. Escaping your grasp as it wiggles, and seizes the opportunity of freedom. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, after all this is all an example. ________________________________________ |

I miss you.

Change takes time. It can take minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, maybe even years. Everyone is different, with the world being perceived differently, depending on the experiences you have been through or heard. It took me a while to get over her. On some days the ache comes back, shredding my heart into pieces. Threatening to never completely heal. It was young puppy love, hurt and burdened with nothing good from the start. I needed to forget her, to move on. That dreadful night, the whispering breeze, full of secrets. The trees shook with such emotion, mesmerizing at whoever captivated such moment in time. I felt something in my chest. A thump. Something was wrong. Looking around, there wasn't a soul in sight. The quiet stillness slowly became dreadful. A spine chilling wind ran through me. Something, no- someone appeared infront of me. A robed figure, showing no distinguishing features. Slowly, it rose its head, and whispered. It could barely be identified as a whisper, like it mouthed it instead. 'I know what you wish.' It continued, the same tone, 'I'll be you're savior. Come with me, and your past life will fade.' Taking that offer was the best thing that I have chosen to do. I've later come to find out that this being, was not just a figure of my imagination, but a recruit. I was given a role, as it turns out not everybody could listen to what it had to say. The role was personal, it gave me the secrets of the world. Hearing earth and nature's secrets, the barrier tumbling down, with my ear being granted the sacred keeper. The whispering wind, the dancing grass, and swinging trees all soon became intertwined with my soul, and my being. I am the voice for those who have none to yell out into the world. ________________________________________ |

Barriers shattered..
The walls inside grew.
