Biography
A mysterious fortune teller who lives on the sandy beaches which form the border between the light and water flights. From her humble wooden hut, she tells the futures of the dragons that stumble across her coastal home. Her prophecies are cryptic and difficult to decipher, but they seem to come true in some way or another...
Outside of her fortune telling, Cypress is a fisherwoman. Most days she can be found out on the open water drawing in nets of fish, or perhaps selling her catch around markets. It is here she reveals more of her personality; she is a wise, quiet soul with a stubborn fire burning beneath her calm surface.
While she appears to belong to no clan or have a family to speak of, she does have a son, Tidesong. He simply appeared at her side one day, and the locals accepted the young light flight imperial without second thought. He has grown into a gifted fortune teller himself, although he sees the future in beams of light rather than bubbles and currents. He is currently an apprentice within the Shoredeep Presage, gaining experience in the art of fortune telling. Whispers among the less scrupulous scholars of the Presage have compared his patterned hide and blue wings to the great Headmaster of Rosethorn College, Master Sigma. When pressed about this, Cypress simply sighs and mutters something about odd coincidences.
