One of the most clever dragons around, Godot is a passionate and skilled young lawyer. Having grown up at Home himself, he joined the faculty after graduating as the resident legal expert, and keeps himself busy with legal matters, such as the acceptance of new residents. He oversees the training of Home's up-and-coming law students, and passing his classes is often seen as a badge of honour. Though his personality can easily come across as cold or even condescending, most dragons around Home know he means well, and that he cares a lot more than he'll ever let on.

- Biography
Godot was born to a wandering group of deep-Plague outlaws, who sold him off at their earliest convenience. He adamantly refuses to talk much about his earliest memories before he came to Home as a hatchling, and remembering his birth Clan is not pleasant for him. Aside from being a traumatizing experience, he's told those closest to him that his birth Clan taught him many useful skills, such as how to pick locks, wriggle out of handcuffs, and lie very convincingly. It also made Godot very averse to rule-breaking and selfishness, leading to a bit of a black-and-white sense of morality. Extremely idealistic and passionate, he cares deeply about justice and doing right by the young dragons at Home.

- Life at Home
Godot is responsible for legal matters and disputes as well as for teaching law and politics courses. He prefers to keep his classes small, and only takes the best into his upper-level classes. He is known as a hard but fair professor, and Home's residents consider it a badge of honour to be accepted into his advanced courses. An extremely gifted lawyer, Lothur is fond of telling stories about how he's seen him go argue custody cases when he was so sick he could barely walk and still win as if he wasn't even trying. Godot knows his stuff, and he knows he knows it, and this makes him notoriously stubborn. He's been known to butt heads with the other faculty members if he thinks they're not following his advice as closely as they should be.

- Relationships
Godot can be a difficult dragon to grow close to. He often comes across as terse or awkward in social situations, and indeed even tends to glare at other dragons without even realizing he's doing it. His husband Narmer is another of Home's graduates who grew up to join the faculty board, and the two had been friends since they were hatchlings. Despite Narmer's more anxious personality, he's still somehow more socially confident than Godot is, and Godot often relies on him to help him navigate unfamiliar social situations. Most dragons at Home know Godot is a good dragon who is just genuinely very deeply awkward, and he is well-respected for his skill and devotion to doing what is right. One of his closest friends is Itai, a fellow professor who he bonded with over them both having the same medical disorder - which Narmer jokingly says is a very typical thing for his husband to form a friendship over. Very few dragons who know him as a professor can believe he is a graduate of Helheim Hall; his strong sense of morality makes it impossible for him to step away from doing what he thinks is right even if it means breaking rules. He's known by current Helheim students as a good professor to go to for help breaking rules the right way.

- Personality
Typically very formal and generally aloof, Godot can easily come across as a bit of a snob to those who don't know him well. He often feels insecure and awkward around dragons he doesn't know very well, although he has a kind heart and is excellent with hatchlings due to his very upfront and honest personality. In contrast to his personality in informal situations, where he can easily become flustered or tongue-tied, he is almost a completely different dragon while practicing law in the courtroom, unflappable and with obvious skill. Home's young law students uniformly look up to him as a role model, both personally and professionally. Godot hates the limelight, and will often attempt to credit other dragons or circumstances for his accomplishments. He absolutely cannot stand to show weakness, believing that asking other dragons for help constitutes selfishness on his part. This is despite his being a very sickly dragon by nature and despite the fact that he will consistently put his own matters on hold to help his friends with their problems. The only serious disagreements he's ever had with Narmer were over Godot hiding sickness or injury to avoid bothering his husband - which, to his credit, he usually at least realizes is ridiculous in hindsight.
