The Travel to Gladebough Village
written by (JaxtheGuardian) General Information: Hrafn was hatched with a wild heart and an adventurous spirit. While her parents were staying within the Clan Fenixis, Hrafn set out on her own which led her to the Glazeekeins. Though she found a home and two mates that help her secure her place within the clan, the wildclaw still travels the world of Sornieth and trades with the scattered clans. She can normally be found either within her longhouse with her mate Muspel going over history scrolls or with her other mate Spaghet telling him about her travels in the kitchen. The wildclaws footpads padded silently though Natures domain. Her feathered wings were rested at her side as she walked, her fingers fitting with her bag strap. Her large claw tapped against the ground, Feeling for other large creatures or dragons. Her plumage was folded against her head as she weaved though the overgrown trample grounds. She had just finished trekking though the Everbloom Gardens and had entered the now abandoned Pox Consulate. This had once been a worthy trading site though with time disbanding it. Old ambassadors had resided here from the two clans, allowing for others to make camp around the structure and create something of a farmers market. With the war between Nature and Plague though, it caused the site to become abandoned. The Wildclaw paused when she hit a large room. Her tail feathers frilled out slightly as she looked around. Hrafn knew that the location was out of her route but she wanted to see it for herself. Large vines and Ivy hung from the ceiling and trees that had sprouted from underneath the foundation. Some of the vines had flowers on them, some didn't. Grove Ferns sprouted up around the trees with small ones starting to grow on the bottom of them. Different flowers covered the floor along with some grasses. Different mushrooms like Dwarf Shelf Fungus had started to sprout and seemed to have at least three generations growing within the structure. Maybe there was something still good here. Maybe herbs for trading? The wildclaw doubted her own thoughts but snooped around lightly. From her bag popped out Solar, her Lux Spectre. The curious little spirit looked around the crumbling structure with eyes wide. With what sounded like a happy shrill, the little wisp ducked out of her satchel and ran towards one of the large trees. Hrafn simply chuckled at her Familiar as the small Lux Spectre popped out with a mushroom cap on its head. She plucked the large cap off its head and stashed it in one of her many satchels. The Wildclaw looked around again. From the holes that showed through the thick fauna, Hrafn could tell that the sun was setting. Fast. While she wasn't afraid of most things, she had just crossed from the Dusk Sanctum and wasn't going to stick around to see what lived here now. Hrafn scooped up Solar, placing it on her satchels as she gathered different materials from the overgrown structure. As she plucked some Redblood Sapper from the vine, she paused. Something could be heard shuffling around in the bushes. Hrafn's plumage rose and she puffed up her wings, making her look bigger. The loud tapping of her claw matched her heartbeat pace as the Wildclaw stayed on the alert. Suddenly, a few Cursed Bats flew out from a hole in the wall. Their calls filled what was silence and Hrafn sighed heavily as she smoothed out her feathers. 'Just a few bats.' she thought as she picked up the flower she had dropped. "C'mon Solar, lets keep moving." the Wildclaw spoke out uneasily as she exited the old structure. Her tail swept along the ground a few times as Hrafn walked out from there quickly. Normally, Hrafn would walk to her next destination but the bat's scared her enough and it was getting dark. The Wildclaws large wings opened and The Raven took off. As the orange feathered Wildclaw flew towards the large tree, something watched her leave from within the Pox Consulate. It's eyes gleaming with rage as it did. |
