Beacon was loved. As one of the first creations of the first lord, Beacon was made to be a servant of the divine. But lords will never truly understand the plights of their creations. And for all the sweet words the Emperor sung to her, they were hollow and absent of sentiment. And so she was thrown away on a whim once they got bored of her. Passed off to another and another and another lord. One where she was loved for the way starlight seems to be braided into her hair, one where she was loved for her pale, doe-like eyes, one where she was loved for her delicate wings, none where she was loved genuinely. And when Beacon caught wind of all Ancients, all of her kind, being locked away for the first lord to reset the world, she knew where she would end up if she didn't do anything. On midnight of the day of, Beacon flies out of her room's window still draped in delicate silks and jewelry from her lords, running and flying across the lands to scream and howl of the fate that awaits her kind, the anger and bitterness and resentment of the lords burning through her words. The moon's glow made her almost look ethereal as she flew, as if she heralded all of the moonlight to spotlight herself. Beacon, like her namesake, became a beacon of hope for the Ancients. So many saw and worshipped her as the symbol of their rebellion, that Beacon herself became a lord.

RELATIONSHIPS

Lupus and Beacon have run into each other before, and while Beacon initially was excited about meeting another Ancient after centuries, he had no interest in helping her free the Ancients. Beacon called him a coward for that.

Nestia was one of the Ancients Beacon had a direct hand in helping her escape. Using the limited incantations she knew from her time under other lords, with enough reliance with trial and error, freed Nestia from her confines. Beacon has not been able to replicate this since.
