“ Unnamed [uh-NAH-med] does not mean a dragon without a name.

It's a traditional name given by proud, religious parents, to hatchlings who will be exalted. It originates from the Ancient Draconic word Aamed, meaning 'honor' or 'honored', and the prefix 'un', meaning, 'the'. 'Unnamed' translates to 'the honored' or 'the honored one'.

Over time, the name developed from exalted dragons who were referred to as un-Aamed. A dragon with this name is certain of their duty from birth, because it is a reminder of their sacred purpose and privilege: to serve their Flight's deity.”
