xxxxxxxThe upbeat music soothes the ears of all dancers, the ocean-like tunes drown out anything worrying. Shura felt safe here, she felt welcome. This hobby of hers is like a blessing over strength and beauty. Being a dancer is the best part of her life, she can just drift away into the emotion of the dance as the battle of moves takes place. Being so passionate about something doesn’t come often, Shura feels alive and free when she dances. It takes her away to another world. Where there are endless beaches and waves, music and dancing. Her fantasy land is so very far away, and this area where she dances is all that she can ever get close to.

xxxxxxxShura is able to possess great coordination and become highly developed kinaesthetic aspects of her dancing. Shura feels like drifting apart here and there during stressful days. Her mind kept drifting over to the calming beach and her dancing. Time flies when you are dancing.

xxxxxxxShura sighed. “I can’t imagine doing anything else as great and wonderful as this!”

xxxxxxxShe leapt up in the air, did an aerial and glided around humming to the music. Her muscles didn’t ache, nor twitch as she did a Fouette and smiled in contentment. Her job didn’t even seem real when she danced. All those worrying papers and due dates on assignments and reports bothered her. Dancing didn’t. Dancing was her escape. She has always loved to dance. She likes the songs and it is never hard for her to dance to them, but it's really hard to write reports and be an office manager.. She danced her across the floor, whisping her sorrows of work aside with each gliding claw and swift movement.

xxxxxxxThe music swept her up in a tidal wave of soft feelings and the dance moves allured her in like a siren to a sailor. As the music slowed down Shura bottled up her happy feelings and did a last barrel roll and finished, only to look up at the time and head into an anopolopyltic panic.

xxxxxxx“No no no, I forgot the deadline!” She screamed to herself rushing out of the studio leaving her happy feelings and the siren calls behind.

xxxxxxx“Seriously, Shura! This is a deadline you can’t miss.” She muttered to herself as she dodged past people, she saw her office up ahead. The wind hugged her face and the cold air pricked her scales. She rushed into the office and to the computer to type up the article.

xxxxxxx‘Come on. Come on’ she thought as she typed virgosly. She printed it out almost forty minutes later. A wave of relief crashed over her, starting to hum to herself as the air flew in through the window. Shura giggled as she turned up the music on the radio. She danced in the office, never able to fight off the music siren’s calls.

Shura's family knew her potential as a fire representative. From young age she was taught to be well versed in the history of the Ashfall Wastes, and was brought up as a hardworking dragonet like much of dragonkind in Flamecaller's aid. Shura is seen as a reliant and trustworthy worker, whose official job is managing gathering supplies coming from the Faipur Caravan in name of the Navigator Guild. It would seem Shura is the perfect bureaucrat, and a master historian.

But this life is not what Shura wanted for herself.

Shura is romantic, passionate and empathic. She's driven towards the arts like a moth to a flame. But family pressured her into a more stable and responsible career, dismissing her passion for combining her element and her art as "a fad of youth". Shura feels anxious at the mere thought of letting anybody discover her true passions, and spends most of her days keeping herself busy with work duties, often working herself to exhaustion just she has no time left to dedicate to her dance.

But art always finds a way, and every now and then Shura will slack at her work and responsibilities, completely wrapped on her art to even remember anything else. The Faipur Caravan seems to be fully aware of her passion and every now and then they'll try to talk her into letting herself invest even a little bit of her time in her dancing, which Shura dismisses completely as "silly childish wishes".

However, if you were to look at the terrace of the Faipur Residence on hot days' sunset hours you would see flames dancing, and Shura right at their center. Art always finds a way.
