Diary now in possession of ???

Lost, trapped, abandoned.
It’s cold. Just frigid.
Where am I?

I’m cold.
Why is it freezing?
I just want to go home.

Would anyone hear me?

Nobody’s out here...
I’m alone.

This iceberg won’t last forever.
I can’t escape.

Why can’t I remember anything?
I need help..

How did I end up here?

How long have I been drifting out here?
It feels like it’s been a decade.

Maybe I can last a bit more.
Maybe I’ll get to land soon.

Just soon.

I can’t see anything.
It’s dark.
It’s getting bitter in this cold.
It’s the end of the line for me.

I can’t feel anything, everything’s wet.
Maybe it’s for the best.
I didn’t deserve this.

“UCK CKKK CK” Where am I? I question myself.
I can feel my lungs again.
Could I not feel them before?
What happened?
I was on land.
Hot scorching, burning embers rose from the ground.
What was my luck?

Am I always in danger?
I finally screech a soft “help” into the atmosphere, but nothing responded.
Fire split from the ground, I felt weak. Was this it again?

There’s no escape from this raging storm of flames.
I let myself down, and lay there, waiting for my burning defeat.

But yet again, I was saved. A small Rabid Grinfin saved me.
It risked it’s own for mine.
It’s foolish.
But why?

It may be small, but it was larger than me.
It dragged me near the fire, spitting out water it had stored in it’s mouth.
