Shining Beast

Dreadful descendant of the Queen whose stare turns those that catch it to stone. Many Clansguard sacrificed their lives to route him and imprison him beneath Keening Rock. Their petrified forms now stand as statues in the Garden of Saints.

What loathsome crime begat Mairax's curse? What iniquity could be worth such steep redress? Though her heart rejects the answer, it is a truth the Queen cannot deny: these eyes are the Lightweaver's judgment, and the wrath of the An'iel, weeping tears of light for the fallen Ahrima. He was not hers to sentence, and for her hubris, a beast of her own flesh and blood was born.
