oIRHnss.png Faye' s mother always warned her to stay away from other dragons, especially the larger or the carnivorous ones, for fear that Faye would be crushed or mistaken for prey. Faye and her mother lived in a small clan of Veilspuns, and Faye was one out of three hatchlings, who were all given the same warning, and like "good children" they obeyed the warning. But Faye hated these warnings. She never believed that the dragons her mother warned her about were the monsters she made then out to be.
Faye wanted to explore, but directly disobeying her mother left a bad feeling in her stomach. So she started with baby steps- she found a Fae to socialize with. Then a Tundra, a Mirror (for the carnivorous step), and so on. For weeks Faye did this behind her mother's back. Each week was a new type of dragon she'd talk with. The most intimidating was the Ridgeback, for their teeth. But luckily, they were fish-eaters and had no desire for red meat or bugs.
Eventually, Faye had been caught by another member of her clan and was exposed to her mother, who was outraged. She had decided, that if Faye wanted to socialize with larger dragons, that she put their lair location at risk, and banished her. Faye was devastated and flew to one of the dragons that had spoken to her over the last few weeks, begging for help or at least to be pointed in the direction of someone who can provide her shelter. It was then that she met Priestess, who brought her home and informed Lapis of a small newcomer.
