↠ Weapon Connoisseur
If you want weapons, this is your guy. They are his greatest passion and he knows just about everything about them; how each are used, the history of different kinds of blades, notable ones that were owned by famous leaders or warriors. He can tell the quality of a blade at a glance.
_____A slight hiccup in his desire to become Sorneith's greatest swordsmith is his lack of forelimbs. As of yet, he has not found a way around this 'small' disadvantage, so instead of forging them himself, he travels Sornieth in search of weapons to bring back to his clan. Years of practise mean that he is expert at cleaning and maintaining them, even without hands. Those in the clan's Outskirts come to him for regular cleans, sharpenings and check-ups. He can do some of this himself, but gets just as excited in teaching others how to care for their own weapons.
_____He has no combat ability of his own, but he has a deep admiration for people who can wield weapons with the grace they deserve.

CLAN ROLES [WIP]
Government
These dragons have roles in government or diplomacy. Working under Actaea, their primary goal is to keep the clan in its current state of peace. Most spend their time in the clan's centre, at the top of a column of crystal and rock that rises from the forest below.
|
Actaea • Clan Leader Serious and calm, Actaea is always a rational decision-maker. He sees maintaining the peace of the clan as his most vital role, and will stop at nothing to maintain the clan's safety. |
Orodruin • Lead Delegate Actaea may be the clan's leader, but Orodruin is the figurehead. He works on maintaining positive relationships with neighbouring clans. He is closest to Actaea. |
Curufinwe • Delegate • Tactician Curufinwë hopes to inherit his father's role one day, and knows that having established relationships with external figures will help enormously. He isn't passionate about being a delegate so much as preparing for the day when he takes over the clan. |
Chimes • Delegate Chimes will take any excuse to travel, and she happens to be very good at navigating relationships with neighbouring clans. She's a peacemaker, and wants to be on good terms with all other clans (most definitely not just because she wants to be able to travel the world in peace). |
Alexander • Beastclan Ambassador Alexander is passionate about forming meaningful relationships with the clan's Beastclan neighbours, and erasing the stigma and animosity between them more widely. |
Louis • Treasurer No one else seems to think allowing this opulent golden imperial is a bad idea, or perhaps they'd just rather not look into the clan's finances. Louis puts clan aesthetics above all else and considers it to be a constant project. |
Guards
These dragons are protectors of the clan, who ensure the safety of its members from any threats that encroach on the lair. They spend most of their time in the clan's outskirts, where the forest thins and the buildings grow sparse. Most are very territorial, even towards their other clanmates, so it is not wise to wander off.
|
Sercë • Captain of the Guard • Tactician Sercë is undoubtedly a strong fighter, but his ruthlessness is most strongly utilised in leadership and tactical planning. He uses his strength to protect the clan, but his jealousy and aggression mars his ability to be genuinely reliable to his clanmates. |
Irime • Trainer of the Guard Irime spends her days training the Guard's new-recruits and keeping the old ones out of trouble. Her clan is her family, and is the most important thing in the world to her, so god help you if you endanger them! |
Aulon • Coliseum Leader Aulon is the main coliseum trainer. He specialises in training youngsters the Ghostlight Ruins. Though he looks a little scary, he is patient and kind. |
Narya • Guard • Mire Flyer Narya is wild, and as such is avoided by just about everyone except her siblings and parents. She is a ferocious fighter and spends her days training, spending time in the Mire, or sneaking off to pick fights with passersby. |
Agarwaen • Guard Agarwaen is both a guard and an opportunistic gladiator, who was recruited into the clan by Narya. |
Mahta • Guard Mahta is one of the clan's younger guards, and looks up to his elders immensely. He is a hard-worker and has a bit of a competitive streak. |
Kormel • Hatchling Guard Kormel primarily spends her time guarding the hatchlings. She is very fond of Raya and Torval, and occasionally entertains the hatchlings for a few hours to give them a break. |
Hariwake • Scout When she isn't busy playing peacekeeper between her sister and brother, Hariwake scouts the clan's territory for threats or visitors. |
Gador • Seeker • Prison Guard Gador followed the scent of the Shade to the lair, and is staying in the old prison whilst trying to track down its source. He guards an empty bunker which he is currently making into a functional prison. He is vicious, brooding and suspicious of others. |
Hloire • Assassin Hloire is the clan's assassin who works primarily as a spy, because the clan is peaceful enough not to need to assassinate any enemies. |
Forest Tenders
These dragons spend their days and nights within the forest. They are certainly allowed to go wherever they like within the clan, but most like the safety and quiet that the forest provides. |
Alalme • Head Gardener Alalme spends most of his time tending to the clan's sprawling gardens. Though technically a farmer, his garden looks more like a jungle than any kind of orderly crops. |
Míwa • Assistant Gardener Míwa helps Alalme keep control of the chaotic garden, tending it in rain, hail or shine. |
Picea • Produce Preparer Picea prepares all of the plants that will be eaten by the clan. She has quite minimalist cooking styles, however, so if you want an actual dish rather than pristine lettuce leaves, take them to the clan kitchens. Picea is motherly, and her and Alalme do their best to keep an eye out for the other forest-dwelling dragons. |
Lon • Mushroom Gatherer Picea's mate and the clan's mushroom collector. She likes the dark and the quiet, so the forest is perfect for her. She knows every type of mushroom, so if you're poisoned because of something she gave you... well, perhaps avoid all future mushroom dishes. |
Melmë • Herb Gatherer Melmë knows every nook and cranny of the forests that fall in the clan's territory, and their role is to collect rarer plants, primarily those with medicinal properties to be given to the clan's healers. |
Vaya • Cemetery Groundskeeper Vaya cares for the cemetery, nestled deep in the forest, and is much older than the clan itself. Most clan members think the cemetery is haunted, and the few dragons that have glimpsed her consider her some kind of guardian spirit. Only Vaya knows the truth, and she will not share it. |
Greenhouse Caretakers
These dragons care for the Greenhouses, the oldest buildings in the lair. They tend to those plants that cannot grow wildly in the Forest, and also to the many butterflies houses in the Greenhouses. |
Raine • Butterfly Tender The clan's Progenitor and tender to butterflies. He does not eat butterflies (and does not allow anyone else to either) instead caring for them diligently before releasing them into the forest. |
Vilviren • Greenhouse Tender Gentle and sweet, Vilviren is a hard-worker who loves spending time in nature. He spends his days propagating and watering plants, and carefully collecting fruits and herbs from the Greenhouse plants. |
Healers
The clan healers are lucky enough to live relatively uneventful lives due to the clan's peace. They live on the highest column, alongside the governmental buildings. This means patients are more easily protected, but tell that to whoever has to fly an injured imperial to the healing suites... |
Alatáriel • Head Healer Alatáriel is an incredibly skilled healer, but would rather |
Nadi • Surgeon-in-Training Nadi is a surgeon-in-training, whose unorthodox methods mean that Alatáriel is not supposed to leave her unsupervised with patients. Her experiments amuse the way-too-tolerant Alatáriel, but terrify the rest of the clan who would rather just bear with their injuries than risk further harm from her 'treatments'. |
Hikari • Healer-in-Training Hikari was raised as a Guard, however his real passion lies in healing. He trains under Alatáriel in secret, and has quite the crush on his teacher. |
Hunter-Gatherers
The clan needs to be fed, and these are the dragons that keep the food coming. The floating lair encompasses a dense and populous forest and is surrounded by the sparkling oceans of the Starfall Isles. |

Hatchling Carers
These dragons are the primary carers and teachers of the clan's hatchlings. Though the parents having varying degrees of involvement with their own hatchlings, these guys can be counted on to spend every waking moment nurturing and protecting all hatchlings. |
raya - main carer
torval - teacher
Licuma - hatchling doctor
Kormel (*) - guard
Hoard Managers
These dragons manage the clan's overflowing hoard. This is no easy feat, as new items are perpetually being dumped on the already-enormous piles, and the Head Hoarder seems to think that Swipp may one day starting asking for something they already have hundreds of. |
