Ghirardelli

__Not long after beginning his journey with his new love Lemon, the pair came to a port city in the southern icefields. While staying at surprisingly cozy Newhearth Lodge, the visiting herpetologist Ghirardelli was sought out for help by Delaeris and Tsuki to save a clutch of eggs that had taken a chill. Ghirardelli and his partner Lemon helped to warm the clutch slowly and make sure the hatchlings were off to a good start before departing the clan, and they showered them with affection and confections. As a result, the hatchlings Rose, Henna & Hickory seemed to be a bit confused about their actual parental lineage, and look at Lemon and Ghirardelli as surrogate parental figures, though no one really seems to mind this much at all. They stayed at the lodge long enough to see the children off to a bright start, collect a few new recipes and hand down a few of their prized recipes to the proprietors, Patchouli and Silvern, before continuing on their journey. Their citron-chocolate squares are fast becoming one of the Lodge's signature treats, baked by Patchouli every Saturday for hungry hatchlings, travelers and locals alike.
