Victor had no choice but to follow the strange dragon deeper into the shadows. Why didn't the young Ridgeback listen to his parents and stay closer to the nest? They told him the Scarred Wasteland was dangerous, but they failed to mention the dark swamp nearby. He supposes it doesn't matter anymore. He has a new family now.
