ABOUT There wasn't much expected of him, not when he was a Plague dragon. His options were limited, but he tried his best to ignore the others. He ignored the whispered conspiracies and continued to travel, making tea and cake for those brave enough to drink jasmine tea made by a Plague dragon. As he traveled, he passed a Wind clan led by a Shadow dragon. Odd, but he's seen a lot on his journeys. The first time, he passed around the clan. The second time, he wondered if they would be good for business. Shadow dragons knew what it was like to be misunderstood. He packed his finest selection and knocked. Everyone complimented the tea. It shouldn't have been surprising, but he expected some distrust from the others. Instead, there was nothing but kind words. He hesitantly accepts, wondering when they reveal it was all a trick, but it never comes. They invite him to stay the night, to bake some delicious pastries for the morning. In the afternoon, he cleans up the kitchen, but there is a banquet the next night and some cake would be wonderful, paid for by the King with some shiny gems going into Yuzu's bags. And then breakfast again, afternoon tea, and how could he leave when everyone is so kind? So, he doesn't. He stays in the land of compliments and kind words. |
