Kahu is a dragon of science. He pays no mind to the supernatural, so why is he in this "club"?
For him, as well as many other dragons of the clan, the ethereal is not a rival to science. One can help explain the other, and together they reach further conclusions that each alone could not achieve.



Kahu enjoys studying life and how it works. His room in the lair is decorated with shelves and cupboards of chemical experiments, mounted skeletons, loose skulls, horns, antlers, teeth, as well as taxidermied animals, boards of pinned dead bug carcasses, snake skins and jars of preserved small reptiles.
tumblr_oswhsnDmUq1v8lm95o1_100.png To the unaware dragon, the place would look terrifying, morbid, even, but to Kahu, and those who share his great appreciation for this wonder that is life, the place is more than a well maintained and tidy laboratory, it is a museum full of extensive knowledge and endless tiny curiosities, it is a celebration to life itself, including the cycle of death. It is the recycling and re purposing of mortal remains that would otherwise go to waste. Each remain contains endless amounts of information, regarding, not only the species it belonged to, but also the history of that specific individual, what it ate, where it lived, why it died.

To Kahu, collecting, taking apart and tending to another animal's remains is much more than meets the eye, it is about getting to know what and who that animal was in life, and what it can teach us in death.
