 Within the Wayfarers’ gardens, an unwelcoming presence makes its home. Velia can rarely be found anywhere else, and it is recommended to watch one’s step if one were to find themself wandering through. While it is generally difficult to spot em at all, ey can sometimes be seen lying half-submerged in Aviva’s water garden with a fish nibbling on eir cropped mane, or lounging on a tree branch surrounded by sweetpuff.

No one is certain of quite how long Velia lived within the gardens undiscovered prior to Aviva dragging em to unwillingly meet the rest of the clan, and ey has yet to respond to any pestering about it. It’s doubtful ey ever will, but that doesn’t stop curious (or bored) clanmates from asking yet again.

  • lives in the clan's gardens. lived there without anyone knowing for many years before aviva discovered him stealing fish from the water garden she'd had added to the gardens, unknowingly put where velia liked to nap. now enjoys sleeping in the water, & can often be found with some aquatic plant or other trailing after him, tangled in his hair.
  • has a bit of a enemy-to-reluctant-friends thing going with aviva, where they pretend they don't notice when the other does somewhat nice things for them.
  • prior to the being unwillingly introduced to the entire clan, only amadeus & candlelight knew who velia was. velia is very close to amadeus.
  • has chased squirrels away from some of the sweetpuff/ragepuff nests in the gardens, both in defense of the birds & while hunting, & has earned himself many bird friends who tolerate his presence near their nests.
  • branch horns shaped similar to a ram's.
  • used to draw quite some time ago. no longer does, but has an old notebook filled with various sketches stashed somewhere in the garden. no one has seen it except for amadeus, who spotted velia with it once & never again.
