Iris constantly has her head in the clouds, often wandering the village aimlessly while mumbling and giggling to herself. Her attention is constantly shifting, to the point where it's hard for other dragons to even have a simple conversation with her sometimes. though she truly is a passionate, caring dragon. She's also deeply apologetic, often feeling the need to say she's sorry whenever she feels her inattentiveness may have came across as rude.

Growing up, her attention issues made her a bit of an outcast in her own family. She was often looked down upon by her parents and siblings. Being from the Arcane Flight, her relatives often held her to a high standard in that she was unable to live up to. Iris is actually pretty intelligent, though her attention issues always made it a struggle for her to learn as easily as her siblings were able to. She had to work much harder than them to keep up with her studies, and still couldn't keep up with them much of the time. However, after all of her hard work, she was able to succeed in the end. After completing their studies, Iris, her parents, and her siblings had plans to leave their lair to serve the Arcanist. However, on the morning they had planned to be exalted, Iris woke up to find that they had left without her. In spite of her efforts, her family never thought she was good enough to join them, so they left her that day without warning.

Without the rest of her family, and without the support of her remaining clan members, Iris had nobody who could help her reach her deity. Heartbroken, she left her lair without notice, hoping to find a new purpose in life. She went for months without a home of her own, living off of the land and hiding from Beastclans. It wasn't long, however, before she had been attacked by a large group of Talonok hunters. She fought them off the best she could, but she was soon overwhelmed by the sheer number of them. Fearing that these could be her final moments, she began to pray to her deity for safety.

Just as she was taken down by the Beastclans, a gust of wind picked up, and the silhouette of a small Fae rose in the distance. The hunters split up, with half the group aiming to take down this mysterious dragon, but she soon proved to be a force to be reckoned with. Overwhelming them with her speed and wind powers, the Beastclans struggled to lay a finger on her. Iris watched the fight with awe, amazed by the dragon's skills.

Once the Talonoks realized the danger they were in, the remaining Beastclans holding down Iris decided to forget about her and help their comrades take down this threat. Though they struggled to fight her, it was clear that she couldn't handle all of them on her own. Realizing she had to do something, Iris remembered her studies. After spending her whole life studying and practicing Arcane magic, surely she had to be capable of something that could take down this horde. Though she struggled a little bit, she took a deep breath, concentrated on her thoughts, and next thing she knew, she had summoned a massive wave of Arcane energy that knocked the Beastclans onto the ground. Iris and the mysterious dragon exchanged eye contact for a few seconds, and without saying a word, they understood that they needed to escape before the Talonoks got back up to fight some more.

The two dragons flew off together, with Iris following the fae's lead. During their flight, the fae properly introduced herself as Silvia, the head of a small village called Moonlight Falls. Intrigued by the sound of this place, Iris asked Silvia more about it. After learning how most of the villagers came from troubled pasts like her, Iris knew that she wanted to see this place for herself. So she stuck together with her new friend, and the two of them made their way there.

After meeting the rest of the villagers, Iris connected with them in no time. For once in her life, she felt surrounded by people who were willing to understand her. And with that, Iris decided to become a permanent resident of Moonlight Falls. Despite her issues with her attention, the other villagers enjoy her company, and say that she's overall a fun, positive dragon to be around. She deeply enjoys cooking and baking, and likes to spend time preparing food together with Bianca. She still isn't quite sure what she wants to do with her life now, but she's happy to figure it out with her new family.
