Since Leviathan came back from being touched by the shade, he has been obsessed with exalting dragons to the IceWarden. He convinced Gnanapazham, a Dragon who was known for exalting her children, to have a fodder nest with him. After Narciso hatched, Gnanapazham changed her mind. She sent her other children to the IceWarden without a second thought, but was fiercely protective of Narciso. Leviathan, not wanting anything to do with Children he didn't sire with his mate, ignored Narciso and let Gnanapazham keep him.
As he grew, Gnanapazham kept an eye on him, attempting to teach him how to hunt and collect bones. Narciso was much more interested chewing and pulling on his mother's crest than the lessons. Despite this, Narciso grew into a swell hunter, and would often join his mother hunting for meat in the icefields.
However, Narciso still took more after his father. He was much more interested in appearance than anything else. Countless hours were spent with the more flashy coatls of the clan. After a while, he grew sick of his breed and genes, and convinced Alduin to let him change. Alduin, having grown quite close to the boy, agreed and bought him the genes promptly.
Narciso is in love with his new look, and shows off to anyone and everyone.

Because Narciso spent most of his hatchling days with only his Mom, he became somewhat of a Mother's boy. Uncharacteristically, Gnanapazham encourages this, enjoying the praise and attention she gets from her precious child. When Alexandria came into the picture as Gnanapazham's partner, he started bugging her just as much as his mom. Going as far as calling her "Mom #2!"
Leviathan is somewhat affectionate to Narciso, and even carved him a small tunnel in the clan's cave to play in as a hatchling. However, he doesn't speak much to Narciso and called him "The Mirror Hatchling" for quite some time after he was named.

Narciso is an energetic little bug, and would hop around everywhere, greeting any dragon he came across with gusto. Now that he's a Coatl, he flies around the clan caves, hitting the heads of the dragons bellow him with his tongue or tail.
