Biography

Molten is a very lucky dragon... or perhaps a very unlucky one!

Dropped as a hatchling into the magma vents at the heart of the Ashfall Wastes, it was assumed he would perish in the heat; instead, the determined little dragon survived, clambering back to safety seemingly by himself. He healed very slowly, and remains marked to this day by strange scars of molten gold.

Some claim that he's touched by the Flamecaller, that she saved him that day, and that the golden scars are proof of her devotion. Others believe that he was fated to perish in the vents, and that by surviving he went against her wishes; they see the markings as a warning to stay away from one who angered her.

With no community among his fellow fireborn dragons, Molten has journeyed west, seeking a new beginning in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. It is his hope that he will find a new home there, and that the sea's healing waters will help to soothe the burns that still trouble him.
