Only a few days old, the young Skydancer sobbed, though their cries were muffled by the nest that was created by their mother, their dead mother. The hatchling had just gotten scolded, perhaps beaten too, they were the apparent cause of their mother's death, yet the female Nocturne was only trying to defend her clan, the young Skydancer had nothing to do with it. A larger male Skydancer stormed into the den, the sobbing hatchling's father, along with two other dragons, another Skydancer and an Imperial. They had a quiet conversation in a secluded corner, the hatchling looked up, their tear stained face covered with dried blood, drawn by the father.
The Imperial furrowed their brows at the male Skydancer "...Pripyat..?"

The male Skydancer glared at the Imperial, "Yes, Pripyat, that..thing is a curse, a disaster, it caused Shadow's death for Plaguebringer's sake!".
The Skydancer that accompanied the Imperial both exchanged glances, they couldn't change the male's mind now. The three of them walked over to the nest where the hatchling laid,
"Pripyat." The father said, "Your name is Pripyat."
