Bio

Eider is the more curious of the two Veilspuns that have taken up residence in a hollowed tree on the edge of Mistwood. He feels himself drawn to the large dragons that have begun to stake their claim of the wood. Due to his small size, he finds it easy to sneak amongst the canopy above their giant heads and catch glimpses into their lives. His mate wants nothing to do with them and is quite content to leave the divide between the parties unabridged, yet he finds himself drawn to the bonds the large ones have formed.

Drabble: Eider’s Repose

Eider solemnly looked out over a moonlit glade, taking special notice as to the oppressive shade of blue the night casts upon the world. For a few precious hours, everything is the same. The deep crimson of the berries, the healthy verdance of the leaves, the neutral splendors of the exposed earth, all gone, painted over a unanimous twilight hue. He secretly revels in this, sharing the shades of the night upon his hide. He doesn’t believe himself a pompous dragon, and perhaps that’s the reason for the departure from his clan. He realizes that the monochrome always causes reminiscing.
