Vantas, the chief.... something, of the lair who is very insecure about his small wingspan. As an imperial towering above all the other residents of the clanhouse, his stature naturally demands attention. Is it because of his natural importance, or lack of initial attention he became this way..? We can only wonder.
Vantas got his love for very extreme protection from his elder sister Morgana, whom he is quite fond of. She is the Chief Guard of Vantas' and Hypatia's home clan. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree; even now the fully grown Vantas enjoys going out and getting himself fancy armourplates and tassets at the local marketplace that he is never going to use. For him, it's a sort of reminder of home, almost. And it's very understandable why he finds it hard to let Scapegoat's Haven go. If you visit yourself, without a doubt, you will definitely stick around.
While the rest of the clan's residents aren't major armour fanatics, Vantas along with several others stand out. Arwen claims she wears the Chitin Armour because it "highlights [her] figure", and Gale doesn't need much of an explanation, him going on frequent Coliseum trips, coming back with a few broken bones and describing it as "A chivalrous adventure, truly! Vil my good chum, come with me next time, it's jolly good fun!". When Vantas got asked why he wore his gambeson (that is so hard to notice sometimes you wonder if it's even there), his reply was short.
"It's a good measure. Nobody knows what might happen to you. If only Pharmakon was more careful..."
Who exactly Pharmakon is, was, and who they used to be, is a mystery to all of the clan's newcomers. Sometimes you can witness Hypatia and Vantas quietly bickering about it with hushed voices, glancing around to check if anyone might listen in.
