for years, Joria has studied the scarred wasteland, knowing its customs and promptly adapting. a strange occurance drew him in and held him tight, the necromancers.

they were a strange lot, dragons that the plague god herself touched, infected with a illness and those who survived become one with them. dragons that were one with the illness, Joria more than once had a fight with one, ending with one walking away.

the ones that had failed the trials, the ones who were often left, became what he knew as ghouls. dragons that are doomed to death, the plague god abandoning them and the only chance of being saved by another necromancer. Joria hated this aspect of the necromancers, and while he wore their clothes and lived in their land, he will do what he can to spite them


Joria would raise his cane, and in turn, raise the dead. in his view, he wore the true meaning of a necromancer, to control death, and use it against his enemies and help his allies. he never did this often of course, while he could do the horrible act, he still wished to obsrve them.


as they worshipped their so called mother, hunted down those who had turned to the shade and spread the infection, Joria would watch. adorning his mask, his son, Dion by his side.

from the moment Joria hatched, deep in a cave, he knew his life would be cursed with misfortune. his mother was someone he never spent time with, rarely coming back to the den, maybe going to find food, or pretend she wasn't stuck raising him alone. His father, a dragon who went to the scarred wasteland and never returnt, that was the story Joria was always told when he asked, though he wasnt sure if he actually believed it.


his mother had a new mate, one who made her happy, one she would have a happy family with. the only thing that could possibly make her sad was Joria, and he knew that. In a caculated decison, he wemt flying and never came back. sometimes he wondered if his mother grieved for her runaway son, going the same way as his father. Joria doubted she cared.
