haha I can finally make Kanzi a dragon
the eyes are different from what I really need but eh colors are more important than the eyes
aight an OC is different from a fandragon I can easily write Kanzi into the Burning Moon lore
said OC this guy is based on is an Inkling; we can ignore all the biological implications of that now that he's a dragon (AW YEA HE CAN ENTER WATER NOW)
obtained Jeweled Octoflyer for 3 gems on the AH because I need an octopus familiar for him to match
too bad Marva never gave a blue and pink sweater because see image below, we have green/pink and orange/pink tho
Kanzi Ikatachi; some random Inkling

A big bundle of energy and fun, Kanzi is a dragon who refuses to be held down. He can't ever be seen not moving around, unless he finally collapses of exhaustion like most Spirals do. He speaks as fast as he moves, yet dragons still manage to understand what he's saying.
He seems to make use of all that built-up energy in assisting his friend Varadien in "beautifying" the dwellings in the clan. While Varadien sets up the larger base of the artwork, Kanzi draws in all the minute and finer details.

notes:

• this is a boy; he will yell at you and throw whatever is in his claws at you if you call him a girl and yes we really mean "whatever is in his claws" so better not misgender him when he's holding anything sharp
• graffiti artist along with Varadien; due to their massive size difference the two work together to produce large yet detailed works
• super energetic; it's very hard for him to sit still
• sometimes speaks fast yet still clear, can be a rapper if he wanted to
• writes and composes his own songs, however he's currently too shy to perform for a huge crowd; so far the only dragons who have heard any of Kanzi's compositions are his friends
• he has this secret recipe for a liquid that has the consistency of ink, and when asked about this inky liquid he never gives a straight answer as to what it is and what it's made of; the only thing clear about it is that one of the ingredients is the ink sac of an Inky Octopus (this was found out by Leunapi, who prepares the meat and seafood for the clan)
• sometimes curls around Reimo's neck when he falls asleep (Rei has two scarves now hehehe)
• also a bit of a prankster; works together with Hao and Runi when April Fool's Day comes around
• I guess he, Varadien, Tanobrei, and Reimo are a friend group of sorts but Kanzi just has so many friends in the Clan of Burning Moon
• actually quite well-behaved considering the types of dragons he hangs out with
• hoards Curious Paintbrushes like there's no tomorrow, then barely uses them (I used to use the Brush a lot before switching to Dualies, might as well reference it here)
• so it turns out he's collecting Curious Paintbrushes so he can bundle them together and make a brush that's almost his size, in order to assist in coloring Varadien's larger graffiti work haha DIY Inkbrush
• a bit forgetful so it's best to remind him that he has to do something at most three days before
• has a lot more sweaters than the one he's wearing but he usually only wears that one

• Poison is a necessity
• so is Underbelly
• as for the wings... initially it was supposed to be Sludge but that's too much Baldwin genes so I'm substituting it for Marbled so it's still got that swirly inky feel

  yes I know Kanzi is supposed to be a male but the female Spiral pose makes the pants look better; this project was planned before the Silhouette Scroll was a thing (but I only obtained the dragon a couple days after it was made into a thing) so I only chose that the dragon be biologically female for the pose art but Kanzi's totally a male so yea trans dragon, then again Inkling Kanzi was trans too (this is another story)
• first order of business: obtain more funds
• hahah it's time to grind G&G again
• aw yea progress has finally begun (obtained Underbelly 19/09/2020, 150kt)
• I have never been more motivated to grind for treasure until I got this guy

• k never mind Baldwin didn't give me ooze so I had to get it somewhere else
• aight so all we need now is the Primary Gene and the Breed Change; I'm getting the Alchemical Reductions brewed so I just need to gather more funds and then I can ask someone else to brew Poison (obtained Marbled 22/09/2020, 130kt)
• oh huh I have a Swiftbrood Boon that I will never use maybe I can sell that for quick treasure
• just waiting on that brewing service to get my alchemical reductions done and then I can ask another service to brew Poison (or maybe I can just ask the same one)
• aw yea let's go we're getting the Poison brewed expected time of arrival might be Saturday?
• the Breed Change is always the last part of the project that I actually obtain
• haha nevermind the Poison arrived early (obtained Poison 25/09/2020, thanks tulmultuous for the brewing service!)
• when you finish the outfit before you even finish the dragon
• my wallet... it is in pain (obtained Spiral Breed Change 02/10/2020, 325kt)
• so initially I was planning on getting a Silhouette Scroll for him but the thing is I designed his entire outfit on a female Spiral base and so it looks weird on a male base now, especially the mask/sweater/earrings layering to replicate his bandana and earrings
• I just removed the earrings and gave him wing bangles, it looks a lot more similar
• managed to get rich enough to buy him a Silhouette Scroll so he's a dood now (obtained Silhouette Scroll 19/06/21, 400g)

oh wow a planned outfit already?
at the time of writing this what he's wearing right now is a mock-up until I can afford one of the Marva sweaters and yes he will unironically wear those sweaters (I dress for the abilities, not the aesthetic)
I'm most likely going to have to buy the rest of the items...
wait what if I just dressed him up like Agent 4 I mean the Arctic Coat looks like a decent replacement for the Hero Hoodie

regardless of whether or not Kanzi is a Tundra or a Spiral, he's still going to be dwarfed by Varadien…

strange, my favorite breed is the Guardian but so far both my projects have required a Spiral breed change (ok fine Spirals are my second favorite breed)
