Aberration

The border between Arcane and Plague is ever-changing - torn between magical radiation and evolving strains of plague, the creatures that hail from that strip of Sornieth are unlike anything else around. This being might have been a dragon, once. They retain some recognizable features - stiff feather crests, patches of wing leather, fine claws. But any scales they might have had once have since merged together into a shiny shell, and starstuff ichor leaks endlessly through the segments, dripping from between their clicking mandibles and the endless abyssal feathers sprouting from their spine. Chitin has overgrown their facial features, sealing dragon eyes shut for good; others opened in their place elsewhere. Grown large enough to rival even the stoutest Ridgebacks, the wasteland trembles beneath this monster's six-legged gait, and the skies shiver beneath six mismatched wings.

Yet despite their looks, several chance encounters with this being seem to indicate they aren't hostile. They may have even attempted to communicate, but the only sounds they can produce are snaps and chitters. For now, the clan has chosen to steer clear of their hunting grounds, and keep a wary eye on the creature they share territory with.
