>very clever and mature for his years >is an expert at making emmer bread and little cakes >lives at a granary farm with Betshet and Neb Qebh among golden fields of emmer wheat and flowers >collects individual colourful kernels and stores them in a metal box >he owns every single thing anyone ever says to him like a pro, always having a clever comeback, even though it is never his intention to sound smart or a bit "rude", it's just that he's never phased by people's expectations Renit and Tuai are sorta front-siblings (imagine it like frontmen but not that) as some of the most well known and charismatic siblings in the village, which comes in a package with being a kid from a very essential store like a bakery. Both kids are pretty adept at baking, an expected skill to have developed for just about anyone who had grown up in a baking family, but they are first and foremost endearing siblings who sell or provide bread, cakes and other baked goods to the visitors. They aren't really expected to help with the work, being allowed to be children whenever, but they both really enjoy just being wacky little guys running around with pastries and taking people's coins or goods. With very polarising personalities, they still compliment each other really well and that appears to sell. Renit is a charming oddball who has very little filter and knows just about anything about various types of grain, dirt, foreign currencies and insects, whom he loves to study, but he is far from a troublemaker. Tuai on the other hand is sweet, kind and mostly helpful, but is not afraid to insult just about any customer who arrives with a biased attitude, and then shoo them out with her ever-trusty oven peel if they do not cease. She is there to handle Renit and remove him from the premise if he starts weirding out foreign guests who are not accustomed to his ways, either by gentle persuasion or by force, latter of which is used only if he's being a menace, such as stealing people's coins that he claims "he doesn't have yet!" |
