Granted power by a powerful mini-god, Moander started his journey in life with a nice head start. He and his brother, Soteria who had also been granted power by the same mini-god, grew up under the mini-god's tutelage until they learned how to wield their powers.

"You must both use your power for good, bringing aid and salvation. Moander, your powers give you more hands to aid people with, and Soteria, your sword will bring salvation and deliverance to those in dire need of saving. Go, and bring good to the world".

Moander and Soteria were then sent off, instructed to wander from clan to clan and to use their powers to aid them. Moander did as was instructed, using his multiple arms and quick intuition to heal and mend wounded dragons, while Soteria did his part by assisting the clans in battle. Soteria was almost always the most honored, for his flashy swordplay with his Divine Rapier caught the eye of all.

Eventually, Moander began to covet Soteria's fame, and thought to himself "If they want a savior, I'll show them a savior!" Moander was determined to prove to the clans that he could be just as fantastical and powerful as his brother. He started joining his brother in crusades, quests, and battles. When Soteria protested, he was met with solid stubbornness, so he relented.

Moander was a MONSTER in battle, his arms allowing him to parry every attack, and counter attacks from every angle. He was great at offense too, his enemies utterly unable to counter the flurry of attacks from his multiple arms. That battle gained him much fame, and he was practically begged by the clansmen to bring him along battles.

As Moander grew in fame, so did his thirst for battle. He loved the thrill, the rush, and the satisfaction of striking down an enemy. He enjoyed it so much that he would bring back remains of the strongest foes he faced and kept them in a prized collection. Soteria was worried for his brother. He had noticed Moander's waning restraint on the battlefield, and times where he would offer no mercy to the defeated.

Soteria decided to confront his brother.

"Brother, I'm afraid you've strayed too far from our mentor's teachings. I advise you to return to your post as a healer, and leave the battles to me."

"And let you have all the fun? Nonsense, brother."

"But, our mentor-"

"Is a FOOL for not recognizing my potential as a warrior. I think he purposefully made me a healer, to stifle my power. He was afraid of me, of what I can do. I can do so much more than wind bandages! I can beat the largest enemy, defeat a thousand foes! Not a single soul dare stand against me. Are you, brother?"

"No, I just don't think it wise-"

"Oh Soteria, I don't think you realize. You're not someone who can boss me around anymore. I'm stronger than even you, now."

"Please, Moander. Don't make this difficult." Soteria warned, placing his hand on the hilt of his rapier. "I will stop you myself if I must"

"Then I accept your challenge! I fear you will regret it!"

The brothers battled furiously from dawn to dusk, neither showing any sign of restraint to their opponent.

Finally, they both came to a stop, their sides heaving with breaths, and their scales dripping with blood. The battle had completely decimated half the clans' village, and dragons stood among the wreckage, bewildered at their now ruined home.

As Soteria turned to help one of the dragons trapped underneath their fallen home, he was met with the full weight of Moander, pinning him to the ground.

"Well brother, do you understand now, my power?"

Soteria, realizing he was no match for his brother in this state, decided to flee. He had to go find their mentor, perhaps she could do something to stop this madness.

Moander turned, triumphantly to the dragons gazing fearfully at him. "This, my clansmen," he spotted the dragon struggling under a piece of rubble, and stamped his forearm on it, pinning the dragon down. "Is what will happen if any of you dare defy me. Any questions?" The dragons of the village were silent.

"Good." Moander lifted his foot off the rubble, and the struggling dragon scurried off.

Moander had become the tyrant of the clan, ruling them with tooth and claw. No one dared challenge his authority.

Days later, Moander was asleep in his partially constructed new castle made entirely by the clansdragons he now rules over. His sleep was interrupted by a sharp and searing pain. A ferocious roar of pain and panic escaped him. His phantom arms had forcefully activated and grew long, gnarled talons. His head felt like splitting as long, phantom horns had extended themselves, curving into a sharp point at the end. His ears had grown long, pointed, and imp-like. His jaw split open to reveal he had obtained a second, phantom jaw, with teeth as jagged as the Crystalspine Reaches, and as sharp as a gaolars talons. Against his will, his phantom arms began clawing at his skin, ripping and tearing scales off of him.

The agony was unbelievable.

After hours of fighting his own power, he finally restrained his arms to his sides and was eventually able to deactivate them completely. After the arms went the horns, the jaw, and his ears, and all was at last silent.

Moander fell to the ground, his heaving breaths the only sound in the dead of night. If anyone had heard his transformation, no one had dared come investigate. "What has happened to me?" he thought. The next day, when he tried to brandish his arms, out came the same, wild claws as the night before. They continued to claw at him, mercilessly, as though he were one of his enemies.

"I must have been cursed," he thought, "by that wicked Deion. He sought to hide my power and now he plans to destroy me with it. But I won't be beaten that easily."

In the following weeks, Moander practiced restraining his wild arms, and eventually grew to be able to control them again. He found that with his curse, he became even more powerful, as long as he was able to maintain it. He doubled down on his ruthlessness and became all the more unstoppable.

"Oh my foolish brother, and my cowardly mentor Deion, you've done nothing but make me stronger. How ever do you hope to defeat me now!?"

He decided that one clan was not enough, and set out to conquer the next.

Moander remains at large today, traveling from clan to clan, wreaking havoc, mayhem, and bloodshed. No one knows how to stop him, and no one really dared try.

The only hope the clansdragons keep is that one day his brother, Soteria, would return to challenge him once more and put an end to his bloody reign.
