Emotion is what drives us, fury is why we push for better. To sate a hunger for change is how we progress.

What is left after it all burns away?
Is there something beneath the burning rage, it consumes us all. It takes hold of us, we lose control of everything when we succumb to rage.
A dragon whose name is etched into the fundamentals of language, a beginning lost to time, no origins only a painful present burdened by guilt and rage.
Her name, δ, or as written in the modern tongue, Delta. A dull mirror, her tail slim and as sharp as the tongue she spoke with. Her once black body faded to a deep grey. Her arched wings coloured alike the blood she could no longer separate from her own. Her eyes were dull and drained of energy.
There was something lurking beneath the scarred scales that draped her body, the tense twitch of her tail, or the strained muscles. She could never relax, she was always alert and tense. The emotion that caused this kind of reaction ran deep to her core, a feeling that makes ones' being that could never be forgotten.
She glared into the rising sun, a new dawn with autumn soon to end. A glow of colour that would soon fade to a gloomy grey with mushed leaves and muddy snow. She stood atop the mountain head held high, her tail whipping back and forth as she looked into the distance, scouring the horizon. Her eyes locked onto something as she glared at it, turning her body and claws gripping into the cliff's edge, readying her legs to pounce. In a single moment, she leapt into the air with only the sound of rocks hitting against the cliff and a single flap of her broad wings as she took flight. Gliding outwards with the sun hitting her wings at an angle, she blended in with the morning orange sky almost invisible to anyone looking.
Her focus never wavered for a moment, her tense wings making slight adjustments nearing where her eyes were locked. A clearing in the forest revealed a cart with where stood a single dragon, a mournful grey tundra, with a flick of their tail slamming the rear door shut, a muffled scream accompanying the jarring crash. The dragon continued towards the front of the cart, nearing their travel to the entry of the grim and harrowing forest.
For just a moment her breathing could be heard, the air felt a spike in energy as her eyes narrowed and muscles tensed. A second flap of her wings as she dove down claws and teeth in full force, like an arrow she directed herself for the tuft on the bleak dragon. A single moment and blood was spilt, he laid on the floor and she picked herself up from the dragon, wiping the blood from her face. She neared the carriage, a whimpering could be heard from the rear. Forcing a claw into the hinge pulling the metal free, a young dragon dropped backwards as the door flung open.
Delta did nothing more, she cut the dragon free and immediately took off again. Her eyes glowing with a fury that no man wished to see the likes of, the dull colour had turned to a bright purple.
