Also the "forest" color is a reference to the fact that he spent most of his childhood playing in the forest.
Earth eyes. Just like in the anime.

Genes:
Safari & Savanna(h) are also references to his connection to wildlife.

Fam:
Master Of The Swamp is a fish was caught by Gon at the beginning of the anime. After that Mito-san allowed him to go to the hunter exam.
Master of the swamp is the one without whom the anime would not exist, so I decided to make it Gon’s familiar! :D
