This man turned dragon is from a far away land known only as "Ivalice."In this world, he is known as Balthier, owner of one such airship and claiming the title of sky pirate as his own. Swearing allegiance to no one, even here, he soars the skies ever in search of the grandest treasures and intricate artifacts to add to his collection or turn for profit. Not known for the usual gruff bruteness of other pirates Balthier prefers to slay tongue and cheek. Honeyed words swaying hearts and lowering guards of all who encounter him. Though, if swaying them doesn't work Balthier is more then ready to raise a fist (or weapon) and fight for his life, it's been coming to that more and more lately. |

Personality
| A man of charm and wit Balthier is just as likely to end conversations with words as he is fists. The man is adored and scorned for his sharp tongue and called many names both flattering and disdainful. His infamous stubborness and penchant for thievery are what most know him for. That being said his loyalty is unwavering for those clever enough to earn it and those closest to him know that the aloof pervet pirate is naught more then a facade. On the inside his heart is made of gold, his selflessness having been proved time and time again. |
