One of the first Obelisk created by the Earthshaker, Glory is a rather unique dragon. A magical prodigy, they quickly distinguished themself as an extremely skilled dragon deserving of great respect. With a dignified, magnanimous presence and an understanding of magical theory far belying their years, they were quickly offered a position on Home's staff despite their age, where they are quite pleased to take up a valued role teaching (and intimidating, most days) the next generation of talented magicians.

- Biography
Carved by the Earthshaker himself, Glory was created a Dark Sclera dragon. Though born with Arcane eyes, they have Light magic - somewhat confusingly indicating that their connection to elemental magic is tenuous, despite being created directly by one of the Eleven. Though most Obelisks needed more time to find their place in the world, Glory always knew exactly what they wanted to do with their talents. They studied briefly at Home, where they were sorted into Jǫtunheimr themself, and later studied at nearby universities on an advanced track that enabled them to earn multiple degrees at once before returning to Home to teach. A prodigious magician, they are a master of Evocation, an incredibly difficult branch of magic dealing with the creation of matter and energy, and the only professor specializing on Evocation at the school. Due to the difficulty of their magic, they work most often with their advanced pupils from Jǫtunheimr Hall.

- Life at Home
Glory is held in great respect (and occasionally fear) by the faculty and students at Home. They are known for their great magical skill and their restrained, self-contained personality, which can make them seem all the more intimidating to new students. Glory has a great sense of respect for their branch of magic, and tries to impart upon all their students that Evocation is a particularly difficult and dangerous branch of magic. A non-elemental field, skilled Evokers can manipulate the energy of the natural world, doing things such as summoning magical fire, bolts of energy, warmth, and light on command. They frequently make a dramatic show of calling down a fierce lightning storm on the first day of class to weed out the weak students.

- Relationships
Not the most personable dragon, Glory is nonetheless a supportive dragon who cares deeply about their students. They are a kind dragon, in their own reserved sort of way, and though they are fair to a fault and do not show favoritism to their own students in Jǫtunheimr Hall over others, they always show a great deal of concern for their students' personal and academic success. A dragon with a strong and firm sense of morals, they are never one to pass up an opportunity to speak their mind even if it means disagreeing. This means they can sometimes butt heads with their fellow staff members, but Glory's sense of fair play and their mutual respect for their colleagues means disagreements rarely get out of hand. That said, their patience for imprecise branches of magic, such as Divination, is rather thin, and their arguments with Divination faculty members can grow somewhat heated.

- Personality
Glory is a dragon of great emotional composure, rarely smiling or offering unearned compliments. They have a dry sense of humor and a sharp tongue, and their students often look forward to hearing a rare instance of their legendary wit first-hand. They have a strong sense of morals and absolutely refuse to back down from what they feel is right, firmly believing that rules most often exist for a reason and harboring a strong dislike for dragons who seek to abuse their power and having no patience for bigotry or unkindness. They value courage highly, and though they are kind with students who are unsure of themselves, they do not have a great deal of patience for cowardice. Glory is known around Home for being able to spot trouble faster than any other professor, and potential rulebreakers know not to push their luck around them. A very competitive dragon, though Glory is typically able to restrain themself from showing favoritism to their students in Jǫtunheimr Hall, they can usually be spotted cheering their Hall on during game nights and running friendly competitions on test scores with professors from other Halls.

STONESHAPE
SACRIDITE

A relatively rare Stoneshape, Sacridite is strongly associated with the Lightweaver, magical prowess, and divinity. It also has a reputation as being the Stoneshape of successful Obelisks, even though it is often seen as a marked difference from the more typical "Earthy" Stoneshapes of most first generation Obelisks. Glory can't deny - they like being different, and their Stoneshape is no exception to this preference.
