@Chivalry: Holy heck!!!! Your bday hatch is gorgeous! She's so matchy oh oh wow! Yes, golden weed would lok incredible on her, especially with her eyhes! Bee is such a good choice andt he glimmer ties in with the tips of her wings... Just wow, she is beautiful, especially with the subtle red that shows through from the python :0 just wow that's gorgeous!

Fiona is a dragon of embers. There was a time that she burned bright with a fiery passion and energy, but she has since cooled... one step away from ashes. Perhaps her new residence in the Southern Icefield is responsible for the snuffing of her inner flame, though other Fire-aligned dragons seem unaffected by the odd stagnation Fiona is victim to. Some have speculated that she's more than just a dragon, being some elemental incarnation of fire itself, and the way her mood and personality have changed lends some validity to this theory.

I love red and fire and this lad is most definitely both! Coral is a perfect color for that accent - kudos on getting the "worst" color to work so well. (It's not really the worst color but... y'know...) The yellows and oranges of his apparel are striking, and everything about him just screams inferno. I don't know how he wasn't one of my original 5 pics.

@Aloice: I personally found the fire halo almost impossible to use, but this is the best dragon I've seen with it yet! All the darker reds do a fantastic job of bringing out the lively flame of the halo, and the accent pattern on her wings almost look like some kind of afterimage, which is super neat. The two drapes - the kilt and the mane - fantastically map onto the outfit of the familiar, creating one of the best dragon-familiar matches I've seen.

@Shiningbreeze: A lovely kelpie mane which he wears so well, that lovely ruby bee, and a well worn accent? I'm sold. He's got such nice fiery colours!

@Dartrix: Aaaaahh I'm so obessed with Asahi!! He's so amazing!! Obviously I like fire, so this guy is definitely one of my favourites. I just love all of the different red tones, and the subtle hints of purple are actually perfection! His eyes really pop out as well, I love that! And again, you couldn't have chosen a better fitting familiar. I love him, please give him a careful hug from me (don't burn yourself though) ♥

@pyramids: He's just the perfect manifestation of "fire" in a dragon I love it so much. I like how although the apparel is quite 'big', it doesn't completely dominate the look. You can still see how the genes and colours underneath work into his look. His wings match well with the dark-red accents in his kelpie mane - and his accent was practically made for that coral wasp!! The little bits of blue and purple that come in from the apparel are also cute details that help separate the colours and add some really cool flare to the outfit in general!

~Loves to braid his mane because of how calming it feels, both doing the braiding and receiving it. Always makes sure to keep the mane clean and soft because of this, to make it easier when he decides to mess with it.

~Has a few pyromaniac-ish tendencies, but isn't a pyromaniac himself. For instance, he has an odd fascination with how fires work, prefers torches over modern lighting if possible and would resort to fires in a tight spot in battle.

~Despite being a Wildclaw, he prefers long-ranged light attacks over claw-to-claw combat. He's far better with close combat that ranged attacks, however, so if/when he enters a battle he'd fight close-range.

~Loves the taste of sea turtle, and despite what you may think at first glance, can't stand eating anything even slightly burnt. He'll even settle for seafood if he's hungry enough, and quite enjoys the taste of it, even if it often leads to him getting sick.

~Prefers nighttime over daytime because of how the halo glows at night. Sometimes he'll slip away from the clan at night and just stare at the flames in the reflection of the closest water source.

Asahi is a quiet, yet powerful mage of the sun. He's not quick to anger, but any threat will be scorched in an instant.

Asahi sits the center of a temple, strong gusts of wind whip at flames of all colors, vivid blues and purples to vibrant oranges and reds. Asahi is the high priestess of fire, the protector of their light. Should any demise come to the priestess or her fire, then the flames of all of the dragons in the realms will die out.

-Asahi gets cold really easily, so he likes to wrap himself in blankets or just pile on the layers in the winter months. The fire radiating from him also helps, but not much.
-He has a detailed knowledge of chemistry, especially surrounding fire and the reactions that cause it. Give him a flame color and he'll list off all the elements that cause it.
-Art has never been Asahi's strong suit. He can barely draw a straight line to save his life, let alone anything remotely realistic. So, no, he doesn't draw often.
-Although he considers the game childish, he likes hide and seek. The fact that he glows does not put a dampener on his hiding abilities, however, and it can take hours to find him.

Asahi, a flame dragon at heart, though naturally a light dragon. He fits a play in both parts. His body is made up of flames that engulf him, used as a light source in the dark or to set something on fire. Asahi knows a lot more than dragons say he does; he knows a lot about combat more than anyone in the clan. How stancing yourself a bit better and digging your claws into the ground with full force will help you stand your ground, and sometimes focusing your eyes on a current target will help with aiming and firing at them a bit better with full force of a fire attack or any other attack that is present. Asahi uses his wings as a shield, since they can set on fire as well. Due to his scales being fire resistant, it does not burn him at all.. but will burn his enemies.

Though Asahi seems like the type of dragon that would have a strict personality, he really doesn't. His personality is more calmer than most strict dragons and he works to help with his clan the best he can, and to prepare him for battle.
His eyes also glow in the dark. Whenever in light, they seem a bit dull; but whenever he does go into a dark area or place, they glow to a neon yellow where you can find him better. Only problem is, is that he cannot control the glow of his eyes.. meaning it's a weakness whenever hiding in the dark itself. He has avoided this type of weakness though, training himself to hide in the light.. to blend in with his surroundings whenever possible. Though sometimes he takes charging straight in a bit more than hiding.

Whenever Asahi gets a bit too annoyed or agitated, he will end up accidentally burning something around him. The reflexes in his body allow him to build up fire accidentally, which soon booms out around him. It's a small radius, though very powerful if you get too close to him whenever it happens. It's quite impossible to make him annoyed or agitated a lot, but there's a 3% chance of it happening to you.. meaning it is possible in some way. It depends on what you did to make him annoyed or agitated.
