Biography
Xenakis is the clan's Loremaster. His nest is quaking with dusty tomes; splintered parchments creaking out of rattling scroll cases, well-worn quills dumped in empty ink pots, ominous maps with indecipherable annotations and an incredible stack of books and notepads. There are usually two distinct piles: the books he has acquired and wants to not only learn but transcribe into his own hand, so that he learns it properly and so that he has a copy if he ever needs one - and the books of his own.
Xenakis looks deceptively young - perhaps an effect of the stereotypical Coatl attention to appearance - but he is in fact very old. Where unnaturally old dragons like Meridia are known to the clan elders, the Kyne's Chamber, and to Kynareth and Balthazar personally in a way that deliberates and makes sense of her story and how she came to be the way she is - nobody has done the same with Xenakis. This is not for lack of trying - it's just that, he wants others to learn of his life experiences through his writing. But he's written a lot - and much of it is a very dense read. Kynareth herself attempted to uncover the secret to his youthfulness by reading his many autobiographical works, but she had to give up before she'd barely made it out of The Early Years.
However, while the clan acknowledge most of his writing on himself is too dense and made up of too many volumes - they are well aware he can drop this if he so chooses, and have read many of his lighter works - and indeed, the clan has learnt much from him (not at all by tutelage, though, but simply reading the interesting and palatable works he has written and trascribed).
